It's 2026.1.20. It's on the 1st floor of Oniкuru, a multi-purpose facility in Ibaraki. The windows are wide, and it's a bright, open-feeling café. True to Oniкuru's concept of a "plaza for growing," there are lots of moms with kids chatting away. A little girl of about 3 next to me, there with her mom, started talking to me. So cute. In the back they were selling vegetables and some kind of event was going on, so it was lively. You order cakes, sandwiches, bread, drinks, etc. at the front of the shop. They have ice cream too. I bought a chocolate donut for 242円 from the cake display case. The staff asked, "Will you eat here or take it out?" When I said "I'll eat here," they asked, "Would you like it on a plate? Or in a bag?" so I answered "A bag." They put the chocolate donut in a semi-transparent plastic bag and handed it to me. I ate it in the eat-in space with wooden tables and chairs next door. It was a slightly chewy donut covered in chocolate. A good café for chatting or taking a warm breather.
View on GoogleI felt like having something cold, so I dropped in on a whim and had a frozen royal milk tea. It had quite a solid tea flavor and was tasty. The facility seemed to be holding an event for kids, so even though it was a weekday the café seats were almost full. There were also guys with laptops open, so getting a seat was tough. It was too noisy to relax. I think getting takeout is probably just right.
View on GoogleStopped by for the first time in a while on the way back from another errand. As I was heading to the shop, the door suddenly opened and hit me. The staff member didn't notice me and apparently went straight on to the restroom… ※This probably has nothing to do with the shop staff, but… ① Do they allow elementary school kids bringing their own lunch boxes and doing homework in the café space? I didn't know, so I let it go. ② People taking up seats in a large group. (They had ordered, though) I wanted to go return my used dishes, but the path I should have been able to walk straight along was blocked, so I had to go way around the outside… Honestly, it wasn't an atmosphere for relaxing and enjoying yourself… Too bad. It might just be a summer vacation thing, but I might hold off on eating in from now on… The cream puff and lemonade were delicious.
View on GoogleFor a break. My wife said she wanted a sweet drink. It was decent, tasty. It's pretty crowded, and sometimes a bit messy. Well, that's the fault of the people using it, but it still makes you feel a little disappointed.
View on Google2023/11/27 Ti・Co・Latte Patisserie has opened on the 1st floor of "おにクル", which opened yesterday. As you'd expect from おにクル, a comprehensive childcare facility, the accessibility is perfect; it looks like you could get in with a wheelchair or anything. Even now I can hear lots of kids' voices. This kind of thing is nice once in a while. I came around lunchtime and they had savory breads, so I ordered one. True to its looks, it's quite delicious. Since it's inside おにクル, there's also a collaboration menu, so next time I'll order from that too. Highly recommended for moms raising kids. Maybe because it just opened, but it's super lively. lol I think you can bring kids without feeling self-conscious. For people who want to read or work over coffee, there are terraces on every floor, so takeout is recommended.
