Drawn in by the words "Friday–Sunday only," I had the "Butter Chicken Curry" topped with katsu (katsu-tashi). The curry itself was well-spiced and delicious, and I enjoyed the thoughtful touches like the pickles on the side and the lemon for changing up the flavor midway. Squeezing the lemon made it refreshing and added a nice accent. However, while it's certainly delicious, when I ask myself "would I pay 1,600円 to eat the same thing again," I'd say that's a tough one. With the standard curries, maybe the impression and sense of value would be different.
View on GoogleFirst visit. It was lunchtime on a Sunday, but we got in right away. We had the weekend-only butter chicken curry (+katsu-tashi, medium spicy) and the vegetable-packed curry (+katsu-tashi, Ibara-spicy, 300g rice)! The butter chicken curry had tender chicken and the flavor and spiciness were just to my liking. They said the vegetable curry was delicious too. It's cool inside, but we still broke a sweat lol The staff were polite and friendly, and I'd like to come back to try other kinds of curry.
View on GoogleCame in around 12:00 on a weekday. Customers kept coming nonstop. Closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The proprietress has a lovely smile! I had the Tashimori Plate for 1,550円, plus chicken for 250円. Regular spiciness, and I asked for less rice. (They clearly list the regular serving as 250g, which I really appreciated😊) Today's dry curry apparently had 2 kinds of nanohana (rapeseed blossoms); the green was beautiful and it was delicious! 〜Contents of the Tashimori Plate〜 Dry curry (nanohana) Tashimori curry Rice Fukinoto (butterbur sprouts) with vinegared miso Beet salad Spiced potatoes and greens Peeled citrus Bonus pickles I don't remember the exact names, but something like this. It's really nice that you get seasonal vegetables like fukinoto and nanohana♪ I felt spring and was soothed. The vinegared miso was the perfect match for the spicy curry, a combination I personally love😍✨ The curry's spiciness was just right — properly spicy! So happy😆 And the chicken I added!! Somehow it's not ordinary chicken! It had a bouncy tenderness, a texture I'd never experienced before. I wonder if they soak it in some kind of brine to make it tender? It was sooo delicious〜✨✨ Not thick and greasy, but a light, smooth spice curry! Totally my type! The side dishes, pickles, and curry were all very delicious, so I'd like to come back. The menu is extensive and makes me want to try all sorts of things☺️ What should I get next time〜
View on GoogleTashimori Curry's spice curry is addictively delicious, so be careful⚠️ I've been several times and tried various combinations, and my favorite is the Premium Rainbow Bean Curry (1,150円) with katsu-tashi (+300円) and Chogoku-tashi (+400円) on a 'Karakuchi (hot)' base. Seven kinds of beans that probably take a lot of time and effort. (They have a firm, chunky texture too, so it's very satisfying, yet healthy) The bite and pleasant sound when you chomp on the crispy fried katsu. The keema spread under the soft-boiled egg is great too! Why is this so delicious... Maybe the spices kick in afterwards — you get the feeling of your body slowly warming up from the inside. (Woke up feeling great the next day, in top form from the morning!) In every respect it's a completely different thing from home curry. I've also had the Vegetable Premium and Mushroom Premium, and I can declare they're all delicious. But I think the Rainbow Bean Curry has a depth of flavor you can't get at other shops. The other day, after a night shift where I'd worked especially hard, I also 'tashi'-ed a bottle of Heartland beer. Eating curry that's exactly to my taste on pure instinct, while quenching my thirst with beer. It was just... the happiest time ever. I'll keep coming back in search of delicious curry.
View on GoogleFirst of all, your concept of curry will vanish (lol) I had the weekend-only butter chicken curry, and.. a lemon for changing up the flavor?!! I'd never put that on before, but.. it actually works!! Spice and citrus really go together!... Everyone, please go give it a try once♪ It's a curry shop like a hidden hideaway♪
