A small traditional spot in the center of Ibaraki, Osaka. I visited the restaurant for dinner with my partner. The welcome was warm and both the staff and the customers were friendly. Ordering is easy if you speak a little Japanese. I chatted with them while they made two lovely okonomiyaki (one shrimp and one mixed). A customer offered us a very tasty spicy spice mix, and at the end the owner gave us a pack of chocolate treats. Cheap, friendly, and traditional.
View on GoogleA strangely relaxing place. Chatting away with the friendly owner, I enjoyed the tonpeiyaki with thick pork loin, it was delicious, thank you. They have Akaboshi medium bottles (Sapporo Lager).
View on GoogleThe staff are easy to talk to, and it's a comfortable place. The teppanyaki was all delicious. We made a reservation, so we got in without waiting.
View on GoogleSmall homely place run by a kind old おばあちゃん. Felt very welcoming as a foreigner. Food is delicious! The best Okonomiyaki experience in Osaka.
View on GoogleEven though it was late at night, they gladly welcomed us, and the regulars chatted with us in a friendly way. It felt great, an amazing place! I definitely want to go again!
