Head west from Hankyu Ibaraki-shi Station along Hon-dori, walk about 30m north past Center Rose WAM, and turn left at the first small alley to find Sanraku. You can have a quiet dining experience here, and the owner is very friendly. Lunch is a Japanese set meal, and it's priced at 700 yen (as of December 23, 2025). You can also eat horse sashimi (basashi) and pufferfish (fugu). The 1st floor has counter seating, while the 2nd floor has tatami seating that can accommodate banquets of up to 20 people. It's a hidden-gem style restaurant.
View on GoogleThis is a shop with an intense Showa-era vibe. I had dashi-maki omelet and drinks. The owner is a friendly person. I had thought about entering many times, but hesitated thinking it looked intimidating; however, this time the front door was open, and I was drawn right in as if pulled by a magnet. It's a shop I want to visit again.

View on GoogleYou can have lunch on weekdays during lunchtime. It seems that people working nearby often come, and coming alone is totally fine.
View on GoogleI use this place a few times a year for work-related drinking parties. Banquets for about 20 to 30 people are possible on the tatami seating on the 2nd floor. With no contact with other customers, you can relax in peace.
