Visited Santori, a famous yakitori restaurant in Ibaraki City, for the first time in 20 years. I was moved to find that the shop, the master, and the food had all remained completely unchanged 🥺 Taking this opportunity, I'll go again ❣️ Seriously, it was yummy-yummy 😍

View on GoogleLooking at reviews, many of you probably thought this is a restaurant with extreme ratings. It turns out that differences in what people look for in this shop are striking. Santori's skewers are small per bite and consist of three pieces. If you are looking for quantitative satisfaction, it gets expensive considering the unit price per skewer. Consequently, eating until full gets costly. This is likely the reason for low ratings. However, for those who enjoy eating various things in small amounts little by little, the portion is fantastic. "Just right." Also, as for the taste, it's faultless. Surely not many people are dissatisfied with the taste, right? The interior decoration, plating, and tableware used have zero stylishness. It's an old shop exuding a rundown-edge vibe, but that's what makes it good. Running for over 30 years is no joke. I don't prefer quantities like certain noble places or Autumn Good. For me, taste is everything, and I still haven't encountered a shop that surpasses this one. Still, I don't want you all to go too much. Because then, wouldn't I not be able to get a seat?
