Great ramen taste and cozy indoor; there is not so many ramen restaurants like this one in Ibaraki City. Plus, you'll find that they add special ingredients to the soup. My recommendation: shio chashiu —salty soup pork— ramen/tsukemen.

View on GoogleRamen Shin" in Ibaraki City, Osaka Prefecture We visited "Ramen Shin", a shop selected for the "Tabelog Ramen OSAKA 100 Best Restaurants 2025", highly acclaimed as a powerhouse in ramen, located just a short walk north along the train tracks from the east exit of JR Kyoto Line's "Ibaraki Station" The interior has clean counter seats and table seats for a total of 9 seats ★ "Shiro Shoyu Ramen" (1050 yen tax included) Ramen is served in 7 to 8 minutes "The transparent soup, so beautiful it makes you squint involuntarily, is impressive" First, the soup... The mellow sweetness unique to white soy sauce is joined by seafood flavors, making it easy to drink with a well-balanced touch of soy sauce and saltiness Next, the noodles... The homemade flat thick noodles are glossy, smooth to swallow, and have a chewy texture The chashu topping is thick and meaty, the minced perilla leaves provide a refreshing accent, and the minced onions act as a textural accent, with each ingredient firmly playing its role. Overall, I think it's a ramen that skillfully utilizes the characteristics of white soy sauce The restaurant staff were wonderful Thank you for the meal. ■ "Ramen Shin" ■ Business Hours 11:00 - 15:00 (*Ends as soon as soup runs out) ■ Closed Days (Monday, Thursday, Sunday) ■ Address 1-3-4 Eki-mae, Ibaraki City, Osaka Prefecture ■ Parking None *Paid parking available nearby
View on GoogleA powerhouse shop selected as one of the 100 Best Restaurants. I went to check out a place that always comes to mind when talking about ramen in Ibaraki. [Location] Just a short walk from Ibaraki Station. Despite being in front of the station, it has a calm atmosphere and a vibe rooted in the local community. [Shop] The interior is simple with a focus on counters. A comfortable space to face ramen seriously, with a no-frills vibe. [Impressions] Today I ordered ・Shiro Shoyu Ramen (1,000 yen) Transparent light-style appearance. However, upon taking a sip, the umami is much more substantial than imagined. It felt like the color of Nakamura Shoten from the Kinsei Group stood out clearly, as the owner reportedly originated from there. The rounded, mellow nature of white soy sauce and the deep dashi flavor gradually spread out. The noodles are slightly thick with a chewy texture. Exquisite balance with the light soup, a bowl where you feel the high level of perfection the more you eat. Not flashy, but careful and truly capable. I felt the 100 Best Restaurants status is well deserved. I'd love to go again.
View on GoogleAs an Ibaraki citizen, I hated waiting in line so I never had the chance to go here, but I was lucky enough to get in without waiting, so I tried their #1 most popular Shiro Shoyu Ramen for the first time. It's clear even though it's soy sauce ramen, it was my favorite flavor and I finished it in no time. I'm currently visiting for the 3rd time intending to try all of Ramen Shin's ramen. I've had Shiro Shoyu Ramen, Shoyu Ramen, and Shoyu Tsukemen. I'm satisfied. I'll keep coming back. The interior, including the kitchen as far as I could see, is very clean, and the service from the wife? is also very pleasant. Found a good shop.
