Delicious breakfast sandwchiches, French toast, and coffee. Different options available for syrup: maple, chocolate, yuzu, strawberry. The toast does take a little bit to come out. Everything made to order. The toast also came with fruit and whipped cream. Only cash payment accepted.
View on GoogleI had the curry lunch set and it was very good. Cute little bits of cut veggies on the side. The cafe feels hidden and calm, while only being a few meters away from the busy street. Nice atmosphere to relax for a moment.
View on GoogleCute little Café in Ibaraki-shi. I went there while waiting for something at JAF. The coffee was tasty but a bit expensive for "only" being a coffee au lait. (520 yen including tax). It looks really cute and there are lots of books and blankets. The smell in the Café was a bit strange, maybe some unfamiliar candle smell to me.
View on GoogleVisited alone on 2026/4/30. Cafe Nakachiyo is a café located in Matsugamotocho, Ibaraki City (1st floor of the Bardens Club Building). The shop is about a 6-minute walk from JR Ibaraki Station. There is a landmark signboard facing the road, but since the entrance is located in a recessed area, first-time visitors might not notice it. Open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Breakfast, lunch, and café menus are available. Beyond just café operations, they also put effort into events such as live music and workshops. The interior has counter seating, table seating, and terrace seating. Partly because it was raining, the shop was empty. I was told, 'Please sit at any seat you like!' so I chose a counter seat. I ordered the Obanzai Lunch. It comes with a main (2 daily rotating choices), miso soup, a small side dish, and rice (white rice or 10-grain rice). ◆ Obanzai Lunch 1,200 yen (tax included) The Obanzai Lunch on 2026/4/30 consisted of 2 choices: Taco Rice and Salmon Cream Omelet. I ordered the Salmon Cream Omelet. I asked for 10-grain rice. The salmon cream omelet had a gooey, melty egg. The obanzai sides were black beans, bean sprout namul, Japanese rolled omelet (tamagoyaki), and simmered minced meat with tofu and daikon radish. All of them had a handmade feel and a comforting, home-cooked deliciousness. Being able to choose between white rice and 10-grain rice is also a nice touch. The miso soup had a gentle seasoning as well. Comfortable music playing in the background gave a feeling of time flowing slowly... it's a calming café. I feel I can understand why regular customers want to linger. I ordered lunch this time, but I'd like to use it for breakfast or café time too.
View on Google2025.11/25 Friday, 13:00 Used for a women's lunch gathering. Lunch here after a long time. Still the same calm atmosphere, a place where you can leisurely enjoy a meal. The interior has counter seating, table seating, and terrace seating. There is also a corner selling general goods and picture books, which is fun to browse after eating. The lunch menu seems to have been slightly renewed. Obanzai lunch, 2 choices. This time, I tried the Chinese-style soup nyumen (warm somen noodles). The main was nyumen, accompanied by 2 rice balls (omusubi), salad, and side dishes. Unexpectedly large and solidly seasoned with furikake, the rice balls were delicious. The nyumen also had a gentle seasoning and was delicious ♪ After lunch, I added coffee and was lucky to get dessert added for free using a coupon from a certain corporate welfare support site ♪ And the dessert was! French toast! Cut into bite-sized pieces for easy eating, it was super delicious ♪ The coffee uses Hiro Coffee. Of course, Hiro Coffee beans are sold here too.
