Menya Ikkei" in Ibaraki City, Osaka Prefecture I visited "Menya Ikkei", which was selected as one of the "Tabelog Ramen OSAKA 100 Best Restaurants 2025", located about a 5-minute walk north from Hankyu Kyoto Line's "Ibaraki-shi Station" on my way home from work. The interior has a very clean and calm atmosphere with 8 L-shaped counter seats, making it easy even for solo female diners to enter. ★ Ordered "Shio Ramen" (960 yen including tax) Ramen served in about 10 minutes When the bowl is brought out, the first thing that catches your eye is the extremely clear "beautiful soup" Let's start with the soup... Based on chicken umami, the seafood dashi adds a deep richness and dimension amidst its light flavor. I think the balance of saltiness and umami is very good This is delicious! I can easily drink it all up Next, the noodles... Thin, straight noodles kneaded with whole wheat flour, which really brings out the saltiness of the soup. Char siu was seared right before serving, giving it a nice smoky aroma It feels like everything is carefully prepared, making it a very delicious shio ramen. As expected of a Tabelog Ramen 100 Best Restaurant The staff's service was also very good Thank you for the meal ■ "Menya Ikkei" ■ Hours (Tue, Fri-Sun) 11:00-14:00 / 18:00-20:30 (Wed, Thu) 11:00-14:00 ■ Closed Monday ■ Address 1F Houki Bldg, 8-2 Takehashicho, Ibaraki City, Osaka Prefecture ■ Parking None *Paid parking available nearby
View on GoogleVisiting Tabelog Ramen 100 Best Restaurants. I happened to have business in Ibaraki. Since the shio ramen seemed recommended, I got the default one 🍜 Shio ramen with seafood infused. Clear soup with no unpleasant aftertaste. The noodles are Teigaku's whole wheat medium-thin straight noodles, which go well together. The seared roast pork bowl has an amazing match between the shio sauce and char siu!! Thank you for the meal 🤤
View on GoogleThe best in Hokusetsu, in my opinion! No, the best in Osaka 🍴😆✨ Since it was the 17th anniversary festival this time, there was quite a long wait (about 90 minutes) ... 😅 I had the regular shoyu ramen with the anniversary special menu extra meat topping (Wagyu beef, pork shoulder roast, and chicken neck). An anniversary festival brings many fans rushing to support, showing how much everyone loves this restaurant ✨ While there are various restaurants where you finish eating and think "Ah, that was good", this is a place that leaves you feeling happy by the time you leave. I think that's an important thing for a restaurant.
View on GoogleShio ramen from a 100 Best Restaurants select shop. A talented restaurant located about a 5-minute walk from Ibaraki-shi Station. The restaurant only has L-shaped counter seating, and orders are taken verbally. It is run by just the chef and his wife. ◎ Shio Char Siu Ramen 1230 yen ◎ Plain Rice 150 yen *Lunch price There is no large size for the shio ramen, only kaedama (extra noodles). The soup is a clear broth with umami, and the noodles contain whole wheat flour, giving them a slightly rough texture and a firm bite, which is delicious. The char siu is seared and has little fat, which I like. I put the char siu on plain rice and poured the flavorful soup over it to make my own original bowl.
View on Google📍Menya Ikkei 🍜Shoyu Ramen (¥960) 🍥Visiting my 79th Osaka Tabelog 100 Best Restaurant! This time I visited "Menya Ikkei", located about a 5-minute walk from Ibaraki-shi Station! The double chicken and seafood broth combines the richness and aroma of chicken fat with seafood flavors, creating a bowl that is refined and light yet also possesses strength 🍜 It seems you can choose between whole wheat noodles or smooth and chewy vacuum noodles, but since it's my first visit, I went with the default whole wheat! The noodles complement the soup without overpowering it, medium-thin straight noodles with whole wheat flour that shine with the aroma of wheat and a smooth throat feel 🥢 Large, rare-style char siu that is moist and tender with plenty of meat umami, pairing exceptionally well with the soup—a topping I really like 🍖 ————————Shop Info—————— 【🏠Address】 1F Houki Bldg, 8-2 Takehashicho, Ibaraki City, Osaka 【🚃Nearest Station】 Osaka Ibaraki-shi Station 【⏰Hours】 Tue, Fri, Sat, Sun 11:00〜14:00, 18:00〜20:30 Wed, Thu 11:00〜14:00 【🛏️Closed】 Monday 【⭐️Tabelog】 3.69 ——————————————————
