麺屋ふくちゃんMenya Fukuchan Ibaraki
Menya Fukuchan is a shop born from the desire to answer the passion of rich-ramen fans. Our "rich tonkotsu" soup is made by simmering a large amount of pork bones for a long time to draw out all the umami. We're supported as a shop where you can enjoy authentic Hakata tonkotsu. Please come and taste our signature richness. Homemade noodles For our tonkotsu ramen, we use homemade aged thin Hakata noodles that go down wonderfully smooth. Craftsmen at our own factory make the best noodles every day. The appeal of thin noodles is the kaedama! If you want to eat a lot, ordering a large portion makes the noodles go soggy. That's why ordering just more noodles is called kaedama. At our rich tonkotsu shops, up to 2 kaedama are free…

If you are looking for Kyushu ramen, this is one of the best restaurants in the area. They have different types of Tonkotsu Ramen, including one that has flambé big pieces of pork. It also has Chinese fried rice, french fries and other dishes on the menu.
View on GoogleSunday, just after 12. The parking lot had space, but the shop was full. While I was looking around wondering where the waitlist board was, a customer who came in after me entered their name on the tablet. I understand they're busy, but having no guidance from the staff is really poor service. A shop that's cold to first-timers. Even though few people are waiting, the wait time is long, so be prepared to stand and wait inside for about 30 minutes. Because kaedama is free, the turnover is way too slow for a ramen shop, and it was stressful. A place I'd never choose on a workday. A good place for a leisurely lunch on a day off. The staff's service was good, but the system was bad.
View on GoogleTo order kaedama, you have to call several times before your order finally goes through. Other customers also only got heard after shouting 2 or 3 times. If you don't want to serve kaedama that badly, just stop offering 2 free kaedama… Fukuchan Ramen often forgets orders or gets them wrong, too. A male staff member who, when an acquaintance came in, started chatting with them and ignored the other customers… at lunchtime with people waiting. Fukuchan Ramen leaves me with mixed feelings. The Fukuchan Ramen in Neyagawa is tastier.
View on GoogleIt was tasty, but it tasted like Ichiran. So maybe a bit more originality would be good. With up to 2 free kaedama, there were lots of students with big appetites. There's also a kids' set, so it seems popular with families too. All-you-can-eat beni shoga, grated garlic, takana, and pickled daikon is appealing.
View on GoogleI went in around 19:30 on a Friday night on my way home from work. The table seats were almost full, but two counter seats were open so I could sit right away. I ordered the Fukuchan Ramen and gyoza. It was served in about 10 minutes. The soup is a hearty shoyu tonkotsu that clings well to the thin noodles. The noodle portion feels a bit small, but with up to 2 free kaedama, you won't be left wanting more. The gyoza had a moderate garlic flavor and a standard taste. With any order, you can get free ice cream if you want. Payment is cash and PayPay.
