巡りごはん いろはMeguri Gohan Iroha
We operate a medicinal herb (yakuzen) salon in front of JR Ibaraki Station. (Food and beverage service is currently suspended.) The interior has a calm atmosphere, and we also sell 'medicinal ingredients and health foods' that you can easily incorporate at home. Currently, it is mainly used as rental space for treatment sessions, workshops, and lectures. Please contact the organizers directly for details and applications for each lecture. The shop is closed on days other than the above event dates.

This is a place where you can have medicinal herb (yakuzen) congee. Since the shop is on the 2nd floor, the location is a bit hard to find unless you are looking out for the lunch menu sign. The interior is café-like, the restroom is cleanly maintained, and the customer service was pleasant as we received a thorough explanation. The portion felt a bit small, so you can also enjoy side dishes.
View on GoogleI've been here several times to eat the medicinal congee lunch. There are counter seats in addition to table seating, and they guide you to them, making it easy to drop in even by yourself (^^) The customer service is polite, and they explain various things about the menu, so even beginners to medicinal cuisine can feel at ease☆ Besides congee, you can eat plenty of vegetables from bamboo steamers (seiro) and small side dishes. Everything is delicious, but my personal favorite is the daikon radish cake☆ It's chewy and very delicious. I think it's a great place to use when you want to feel energized or when you want to eat a lot of vegetables. The shop's atmosphere and comfort make you want to linger. They also sell medicinal ingredients and tea inside, so I always end up shopping at checkout. Since I live far away, I can only occasionally go eat there, but if I lived nearby, it's the kind of shop I'd want to visit all the time. Iroha's original tea, which was a favorite of mine, is now available for purchase online, so I used that service the other day too. I slowly drink it at home when I want to relax or when I'm feeling tired~ Since they are individually packaged, I also recommend them as small gifts or to hand out to friends (*^^*) ~Added note~ Regarding the posted photo, please note that I asked for a smaller portion of congee.
View on GoogleThe congee is gentle on the stomach and delicious. Perhaps because it's medicinal congee, my body felt warm and I sweated a lot after eating. Good for health too.
View on GoogleThe congee and side dishes revitalized my body and mind. I had the basic set meal this time, but next time I'd like to try other menu items.
