The official name is “Columbia”, but the “C” and the “l” fell off the sign years ago. “o ombia” is still a pretty good old classic Japanese cafe. It was the ONLY one open on January 4th anywhere in this area; keep that in mind if you need food and you’re still close to New Year’s in Osaka area! VERY smoky, so also keep that in mind.
View on GoogleA relaxing coffee shop with an old-school feel. I used it while waiting for my companion, and iced coffee at 350 yen a cup was a very happy price. Cell reception is a bit poor, so casual chatting is just about right. Smoking booth available.
View on GoogleThe Showa coffee shop is irresistibly comfortable. A coffee shop where you can smoke ☕️ is precious.
View on GoogleCoffee 350 yen, smoking allowed~. A shop that is too retro.
View on GoogleRight after seating, "Morning set is fine, right?" Of course. Came here to have the morning set, so no problem. Afterwards, listening to the exchange with the master, it seemed like iced coffee was about to come out, so I panicked and corrected. "Hot, please." I always have hot coffee even in midsummer, so I had them change that. The morning set I received was thick toast and a simple boiled egg. Plus a coffee set. Truly, a morning set where you say, "This is what it's all about." Thick toast is delicious, isn't it? Of course, the bread must have been delicious.
