Authentic chanko nabe restaurant. Found by searching on the web. The moment I entered the store, a hunch: hit! Along the restaurant's walls, there are many handprint colored paper of various sumo wrestlers from the past! The taste of chanko nabe is soy sauce flavor. Large portion and fresh vegetables and meat are delicious. Tofu and fu soak up the broth and are super delicious! If you want to eat authentic chanko nabe in Ibaraki, this is recommended! Thank you for the meal!!!

Chanko Nabe ~ Yokozuna (Soy Sauce Flavor) ❤️ Saturday, June 22 After Expo Oyuba, dinner here Lived in Minami-Ibaraki for 10 years from age 20 Favorite chanko nabe shop I occasionally used Visited after more than 25 years. The master has passed away, and after that, his son took over and operates it. The proprietress also supports♪ Since it was a shop I went to in my 20s, of course the proprietress has become a grandma, but she's stylish as usual✨ The store is a shop irresistible to sumo fans with sumo wrestler autographs and photos, etc. My mother, a sumo fan, talked a lot with the proprietress and received a valuable book ordered by the shop❤️ In the old days, I used to order set menus, but since the hot pot alone is quite voluminous, this time I judged I couldn't eat it all and ordered chanko nabe a la carte Me and mom had beer, family member driving had coke Appetizer sardine is delicious 😋 Chanko nabe has 4 types of flavors, but went with soy sauce ■ Yokozuna (Soy Sauce Flavor) ¥2,750 x 3 Hard to see in the photo, but as usual, amazing volume Packed with ingredients: konjac, tofu, baked fu, aburaage, mochi, udon, eggplant, onion, pumpkin, enoki, chives, carrot, daikon, chinese cabbage, sardine tsumire, octopus, chicken liver, chicken, pork, shrimp, sawara, scallop Delicious even with yuzu juice added❤️ Chanko nabe soup alone is super delicious, and with this many ingredients, it's the best⤴️⤴️ ■ Bottled Beer ¥650 ■ Pepsi Cola ¥300 ■ Appetizer Calculated back from total, ¥330 x 3 maybe Total ¥10,190 Busy cooking and serving into bowls, photos are only this (^-^; Stomach stuffed with mochi and udon at the end Pity I couldn't reach the super delicious zoushi... Must be age (laughs) A bit regrettable that the udon noodles changed from back then... The handmade extra-thick udon the size of a thumb was exquisite - sounds like there are many voices wishing for its revival Warmed the body and sweated Delicious and satisfied - thank you for the meal Only a bit regrettable that a group of customers was too noisy...

Chanko at home ⎛´・ω・`⎞ Enjoy authentic chanko at home. Since we can't go out due to corona, takeout is good. You have to call before going for takeout. Takeout is good, but eating chanko at the restaurant and tasting the atmosphere inside is also good. Postscript Chanko at the restaurant ⎛´・ω・`⎞ Takeout is good, but chanko eaten at the restaurant in the cold season is delicious. You can choose various broths and never get tired of eating it many times. Postscript Nov 2022 Had a celebration and they made a special hot pot. Kue hot pot and duck hot pot were delicious.

Had authentic chanko nabe for the first time. Very delicious and impressed! Quite voluminous for 1 person portion, and was able to enjoy various ingredients♪ Glad to relax and eat in the homely interior. Thanks to the staff who responded politely and flexibly. Found a good shop!
