Great selection, good quality and amazing location

Went to Kani Douraku for the first time in a while for a New Year's lunch gathering. It had the consistent quality where you honestly voice out 'As expected, it's delicious.' The crab dishes are naturally high in satisfaction, and it has that 'safe bet' feel that lets you bring anyone to a gathering without worry. What left a particular impression was the matcha-dusted ice cream after the meal. The aroma was refined and the sweetness wasn't too heavy, making it the perfect finishing touch. Rich yet refreshing, it was so delicious that it alone makes me want to come back to eat it again. The service was polite beyond words, with a comfortable sense of distance. Attentive care even during dining gatherings made it completely stress-free. Reconfirmed that it's a trusty restaurant with a great balance of price, taste, dining environment, and service.

Visited Kani Douraku Ibaraki Branch for the first time in a while 🦀 Since we booked a private room, we were able to leisurely enjoy a delicious crab course with just our family without worrying about surroundings. We went as a Mother's Day present, but when booking from the website, 'Mother's Day' or 'Father's Day' wasn't listed in the 'Purpose of Use' field. I'd like them to allow inputting what kind of anniversary it is under the 'Others' item. If possible, I wanted to reserve a dessert plate, but since there was no 'Remarks' column, I couldn't input it. Also, if possible, I'd appreciate it if the website showed photos explaining differences, such as whether dessert plate ① is free or dessert plate ② costs XX yen, making it easier to understand. I've made online reservations for various restaurants up until now, but this was the first place where I couldn't input things even if I had questions for the shop, which is the only disappointing part.
