View on GoogleHeading to the little-known famous eel takeout shop in Minami-Ibaraki✨️ Located in an easy-to-visit location just a short walk from Hankyu Minami-Ibaraki Station. It is a takeout-only specialty store open from 3:00 PM on Thursdays and Fridays, closing as soon as it sells out, so I went when I had the chance! Visiting just after 4:00 PM, the liver was already sold out😣 Showing how high its popularity is. Even on weekdays, customers were coming one after another, and it seemed to be loved by the locals 😁 You can buy a very large eel, longer than chopsticks, for under 3,000 yen!! Moreover, the eel carefully grilled over charcoal has fluffy meat and crispy skin✨️ The skin was not sticky, and the smokiness was strongly felt✨️ Delicious, huge hit with the family!! One whole fish is quite large and very filling! The sauce can be chosen from sweet or savory, and it went great with rice🍚 Unaju enjoyed at home is truly a little luxury time✨️ The balance of taste, volume, and price is good, and it was a shop that makes you want to go buy again!!
View on GoogleI've eaten eel at various restaurants, but this quality for this price is phenomenal. If you try to eat the same amount at an eel specialty restaurant, I think it would cost 4 to 5 thousand yen. It's understandable why it's a popular restaurant. This is a restaurant I hope stays in business for a long time.
View on GoogleIt's only open on Thursdays and Fridays, but if you have time on the opening day, I think it's a shop you should definitely go buy at even if you have to wait. First of all, the cost performance is amazing. I've never seen kabayaki of this size, this taste, and moreover this price anywhere else. But honestly, I have a feeling that I don't want it to become too famous...
View on GoogleEvery time I passed by, I was curious about this lined-up eel shop ^ ^ There is an unprecedentedly long line right before the Day of the Ox in mid-summer! I bought the biggest one and tried it right away. Good fluffy texture and charcoal aroma too! It was fatty and very delicious. I want to repeat again. Thank you for the meal.
