This place had some of the best udon I’ve had, and I am a big udon lover. Udon is my favorite noodle; I love it bouncy and chewy. This place had super chewy, thick, delicious noodles with a variety of different dishes. I got the umeboshi dish, which was a cold udon variant, and it was super delicious. Their tempura is also good, and you can order it as toppings for any dish. My uncle got their curry udon, which apparently they are famous for, and he said it was very delicious as well. The curry soup had a tinge of udon broth flavoring to it. There are not many seats, so be prepared to wait a while, especially on weekends when their hours are limited to only lunchtime. Recommendation is to come right when they open!

This was without a doubt the best Japanese noodle dish I've ever had. All of the pain and suffering I endured at work this year was worth it for this single dish. The medley of flavors my pallette experienced had me flirting with nirvana itself. If you don't speak or read Japanese you may have a slightly difficult time here. 炙り黒毛和牛温玉ぶっかけうどんがめっちゃおすすめです！トッピングのかしわ天も美味しかったです。

平日13時半頃に訪問。40分ほどで案内され、うどんが到着するのに更に30分でした。 味は文句なしにおいしいです‼︎ コシがあり量もたっぷり。天ぷらもサクサクで最高でした‼︎ 待ち時間の間に注文取ればもう少し回転も早くなるのかな〜と思いますが…。 時間の余裕がある時に行くのをオススメします。

金曜の13時半入店。 待ち時間なく入れました。 カウンター、テーブル席、奥に座敷もあり、家族連れやおひとり様もゆっくりできる店内。 「唐庵の釜玉うどん」と「特製ゆず香るきつねうどん」を注文。待ってる間、黙々とうどんを茹でておられる無駄のない店主の動きについ目がいきます。 光る卵黄が2個乗った釜玉うどんは、つゆをかけて混ぜ合わせると食欲が増すいい色に仕上がります。 弾力のあるもちもちしたうどんと、濃厚な卵を、旨味ある出汁醤油ががっちりまとめて、どんどん食べすすめられます。 きつねうどんは、まず、どんぶりいっぱいに広がるおあげさんの大きさにびっくり！ あっさりした甘めの煮汁を含ませた厚めのおあげさんは食べ応え充分です。 いりこの風味を感じられる温かいお出汁に浸かったうどんは、時間が経ってももちもち感が損なわれず、最後までおいしくいただけました。 トッピングされる具材はボリュームがあるので、少食の方は店員さんに確認することをおすすめします。ありがとうございました。
