It is very close to the JR Ibaraki station, and has been here for a very long time. Their menu is expansive and bound to have you struggling when ordering. I went for the saba donburi set, and it was very delicious! Although it is a little bit expensive, but maybe the cost is justified.

View on GoogleThis is a popular café in front of Ibaraki Station that I had been curious about for a while, and I finally visited for lunch. As rumored, it's a popular spot, and the interior was quite lively at lunchtime. With its great location right in front of the station, I think it's an easy place to use. At first, I felt the lunch prices were a bit high, but since rice and miso soup come with free refills, it feels justified given the content. The miso soup in particular was packed with ingredients, not just the usual token side dish, but a truly satisfying bowl. I think this is a huge plus for hearty eaters. This time I ordered the ginger pork set meal (shogayaki teishoku); the pork was very thick and satisfying to bite into, and the flavor was strong and delicious. Even more memorable was the salad—it had a huge variety of vegetables and was quite luxurious and elaborate. It had great volume, enough that I felt like I got my daily intake of vegetables, making it very satisfying. The service from the staff was outstandingly good, polite and pleasant even during busy hours, leaving a very positive impression. Beyond just the deliciousness of the food, the atmosphere and good service make this a truly great restaurant. I'd like to visit again.
View on GoogleLocated immediately upon descending to the 1st floor from the JR Ibaraki Station East Exit, it is in a very convenient location. It opens from 7:30 AM and runs until 9:00 PM (last order at 8:30 PM). There is a wide variety of breakfast, lunch, and à la carte menus. The interior has also been remodeled, creating a bright, stylish, and comfortable space. It gives the impression of a stylish urban café. Because of that, it feels a bit pricey. It's crowded with customers starting from the morning. At lunchtime, it gets packed, and people form a waiting line. The interior is relatively spacious with plenty of seats. There are only a few seats for waiting customers inside. There are various desserts, and they are delicious. Takeout is also available. I had the extra-large fried shrimp set meal for 1,900 yen. Drinks like coffee and tea can be added for an extra 390 yen. I was satisfied. I want to go eat there again. For breakfast, ordering a drink with toast added is a better deal!
