Everything in this restaurant was so delicious that my mouth was in heaven, and the decoration was so adorable. The tartar with the pistachio was a mind blown combination! Unfortunately I didn't realise I was having a heatstroke, since it was so hot outside, before arriving so I started feeling bad. We had to ask to leave, I was so embarrassed of myself but the owner was so understanding and kind to us. He gave me a cold towel to help me feel better while he packed the rest of the food he was finishing cooking, since we ordered a dining course. He even gave us a sweet treat along with the packed food. We are definitely going back and try more delicious foods! 😚👌 Thank you so much for the owner again for being so kind. 🥹 Grazie!
View on GoogleThis might be the best Italian meal I have had outside of Italy. The Sicily-trained chef has recreated a corner of Sicily in Ibaraki. Each of the different courses was beautifully presented and excellent, and the wine selection outstanding. Highly recommended.
View on GoogleI am from Sicily and I visited Il Pistacchio for dinner. The place is amazing and the food is great. It felt like home!!! The owner spent some time in Sicily and learnt to cook as a true Sicilian. I will definitely go back to this place when I will visit Japan again. Complimenti!!!
View on GoogleIt takes 5 minutes on foot by exiting the JR Ibaraki Station ticket gates to the right. It's a hidden gem near the station that I've been going to for about 5 years ✨️ Recommended for celebrations, dates, or a small daily reward. It's an authentic Sicilian cuisine restaurant. By the way, if you see a small green wall on the corner of the intersection, that's this shop. Phew, right in a place like this!? Opening the door reveals a wonderful space with warm lighting and yellow walls that feels very Italian. It's a cozy, small shop with two 2-person tables and one 4-person table. The owner handles everything by himself, truly a superman. It's completely by reservation only and accepts phone inquiries only 📞 Since it's a place I come to for a celebratory treat, I'm always excited. The chef's choice course is always new, serving dishes appropriate for the season, so no matter how many times I come, I never get bored ✨️ I always order the 8,000 yen course and enjoy 1-2 drinks ✨🍷 This time I indulged in sparkling and white wine. There was both fish and meat, truly a fully satisfying course. Vegetables handled with fresh olive oil. An appetizer with plenty of rich pâté, used without holding back. This time, the celery and squid had an amazing texture ✨️! To-die-for fluffy black rockfish! Truly delicious ✨✨ The meat was juicy, and the crispy skin was delicious too! And the final dessert. Even the dessert has a creative twist, and all of them are delicious!! I always want to try a variety, so I choose the 5-item assortment platter 👍 The moist texture unique to biscotti and the aroma of almonds are my favorites. This time, due to the season, there was also a persimmon-based dessert, showing true professionalism in making even the dessert so solid. I spent a relaxing time tasting carefully crafted, delicious food ✨️ I always feel happiness through the delicious food~ I'll come again ✨✨😋 You can quietly buy biscotti near the restroom on the 2nd floor. First-time visitors, please note that it is cash-only ⚠️ It's relatively reasonable, and the volume is guaranteed to make you fully satisfied, so please give it a try if you come to Ibaraki.
View on Google16,200 yen for two people (male and female). Course B: 6,600 yen/person + drinks. Taste is top-notch. Atmosphere is top-notch *Not a speck of dust. The restroom is also clean. There are no staff; he ran everything all by himself. He served the dishes properly to match our eating pace. Every single dish was truly delicious, and you could feel his hospitality in everything, right down to the water. Just one thing. The portions are quite large. Serving for 2 feels like it's for 3 people. That's how wonderful his spirit of service is ^ ^! When visiting this restaurant, I recommend eating nothing from the morning. And please take your time to enjoy the food. I'd love to come again!
