We especially enjoyed the listening to the video, explanations
View on GoogleA village at the end of a mountain road so narrow cars can barely pass each other, where, like Oura Cathedral in Nagasaki, believers were discovered in the Meiji era. I was moved that faith was quietly kept alive in this village of beautiful terraced rice fields.
View on GoogleIt's in a very quiet mountain area. Looking at the exhibits was educational. It's free, and learning that Ibaraki City is keen on promoting learning made me want to look up Ibaraki City's facilities and visit them. I heard this building is scheduled for renovation. Watch out for closures.
View on GoogleLooking at the exhibits, I think of the people who lived on this land 400 years ago, risking their lives without losing their faith It's a small museum, but every single exhibit sparks the imagination, and the video is easy to follow, so you really come to understand this place I hope you'll also walk around the surrounding land and reflect on it
View on GoogleThe exhibits and such are explained carefully and clearly. The video explanation is detailed; the screening is a bit long, but if you watch the whole thing, you'll get a solid understanding both historically and geographically.
