A very good Yakiniku restaurant in the heart of ibaraki city, Osaka. Friendly staff and fast service. One downside is they don’t have a good variety of red meat to choose from. Only 2 or 3 on the menu. That was a bit disappointing. Other than that it was a good experience.
View on GoogleHorumon Nakamiya Futabacho Branch" appeals with its lineup that strikes horumon lovers. In addition to the value horumon mix, single items like kami-mino (upper rumen), honeycomb tripe (hachinosu), and korikori are available to order, and the daily recommendations line up on the blackboard menu. It's a style where excess fat is drained off on a wire mesh grill, searing the outside crisp while keeping the inside juicy. The sauce is quite rich, but when combined with the fat of the horumon, it hits just the right balance.
View on GoogleA yakiniku restaurant where you eat over charcoal fire. The male owner's attentiveness is very good, making the delicious meat feel even more delicious. Since you can eat various parts of horumon, it's the ultimate shop for horumon lovers. The recommendation of this shop is that on Mon, Tue, Wed only, you can eat both the Beef & Pork Horumon Omakase Mix (Small) — 18 slices of 6 varieties — and the Beef & Pork Horumon Omakase Mix (Large) — 30 slices of 10 varieties — at half price. Thursday is a regular holiday. They ask if you want thick-cut or thin-cut liver, which is irresistible for liver lovers. Sweetbreads (lead vaut) are something I always eat when I come to Nakamiya, and they are ridiculously delicious. The beef is naturally delicious, but the pork tongue, neck, harami, gatsu (stomach), and liver are all as delicious as the beef with a rich variety. A la carte dishes like kimchi, namul, salad, motsuni, tail soup, and stewed horumon curry rice are abundant in variety, allowing you to enjoy things other than charcoal-grilled yakiniku at this shop. When you want to eat fresh horumon cooked over charcoal, why not give Nakamiya a try once?
View on GoogleSunday night, solo yakiniku. This is rumored to be a cheap horumon shop. Indeed, the menu prices are low, and after eating my fill, it came out to just over 6,000 yen ❕ Thinking, "So expensive!?" — I realized Heart sashimi Tansuji (tongue tendon) Sweetbreads (lead vaut) Chicken thigh Akasen (abomasum) Hachiguri Fuku (lung) Water eggplant 2 large mugs of beer — had been consumed. No wonder it exceeded 6,000 yen, Ate too much ( bitter smile ). Among them, first, the sweetbreads, also known as shibire. Apparently, it's calf's thymus. A super delicious, rare delicacy that tastes like a mix of akasen and foie gras, milky and rich. Also, hachiguri feels like an even fattier honeycomb tripe, which is also recommended ❗ Also, at the nearby Takebashi branch, the staff grills it for you if you're alone, but at the Futaba branch, they let you grill it yourself even if you're alone, so it's recommended for people who want to grill themselves. As a fifty-something single man, I wish my stomach could get a bit smaller. At this rate of eating, I can't come here very often... 051025 Heart sashimi, Omakase large (half-price 1,600 yen), Autumn seasonal shiitake mushrooms, and alcohol came to just over 4,000 yen. The good thing about solo yakiniku is that you can taste each cut of meat and eat slowly. Only, even without conversation, 2 hours isn't enough time (bitter smile). The amazing thing about this shop is the meticulousness of the "pre-preparation". There is sincere heart put into making it taste delicious ✨ If I had time, I'd slowly eat it with just salt. Forgot to take photos this time ⤵️...
View on GoogleHappening to walk past the shop and feeling curious, I made a reservation to visit for my husband's birthday celebration. Since it was my first visit, I started with a medium draft. The beer (Sapporo Black Label) was way too much to my liking w Next, I ordered the (Horumon Assortment Small), radish salad, and kimchi assortment. All of the horumon in the assortment were delicious, but the kobukuro (pig uterus) was especially super delicious, and in the kimchi assortment, I had yam kimchi for the first time, which has an addictive deliciousness. Next, I ordered hachiguri and the 3-cut lean meat assortment. Hachiguri was a cut I was trying for the first time, and it was delicious too; all the lean meats were delicious, but the hiuchi was especially delicious. When I asked, "Could I have some wasabi if you have any?" when eating the lean meat, the wasabi that came out was a strange, stretchy wasabi like Turkish ice cream, which was also delicious ✨ By the time I was reasonably full, I thought I'd like to try the tail soup cold noodles, and they had half-sizes available, and the glass wine (red) could be shared from a bottle of wine rather than being the cup wine usually found in izakayas. Everyone on the staff was pleasant, and it was around 13,000 yen for two adults to eat and drink until full. From now on, I'm coming here for yakiniku ‼️ Thanks for the meal, I'll visit again. ☆ Both the sauce and salt were delicious ☆
