Had the eggplant miso special. It was delicious. However. The miso towards the end became way too salty. I think they should reduce the amount of miso a bit. And the chives and egg dish was the opposite, tasting too bland.
View on GoogleI was curious about the Nori-ben Premium so I bought it. It was tastier than the regular one, but price-wise the regular one is probably fine too.
View on GoogleDespite writing in the delivery instructions to place it on the right side of the door, it was placed on the left side. Can't they read letters? Even though I wrote to ring the doorbell, they left it without ringing the bell, ending up with me eating a cold bento. The quality of the delivery staff is atrocious. The bento is delicious and the staff at the storefront are great when you go buy there, which makes this such a shame.
View on GoogleI learned that there are differences in taste even among Hokka Hokka Tei branches. Here, the rice has a very high water content, and you can enjoy mushy rice. The karaage must have been fried at the wrong time because it was soggy, feeling like they'd crammed three of them together all at once? Because it's Hokka Hokka Tei's seasoning, it was barely edible, but it's a shop I'll never buy from again.
View on GoogleA small-scale shop. The staff handle things politely. The taste is average. It's not bad. Chopping up a single piece of karaage from things like the Sumikko bento or chicken karaage bento to fake-bulk up the volume feels stingy and tacky ⁻ The rolled omelet is also smaller than the photo with a ton of empty space, which is a letdown ⤵️
