We went as a pair and each ordered a set with beer. The tonpeiyaki and yakisoba were all delicious. The yam okonomiyaki was fluffy and delicious! It was a nice shop run by a married couple. Next time I'd like to order a different flavor of okonomiyaki ♪
View on GoogleIt's an old-school feeling okonomiyaki shop. I visited a little past 6 PM on a holiday and there was nobody there. About 4 people came in right after, so by the time I left it had a bustling feel. I had the pork cheese okonomiyaki. They bring it out already cooked, so it's nice and easy not having to make it yourself. I thought the portion was a little small, but it was plenty for me. I'd like to try something different next time.
View on GoogleIt's an okonomiyaki restaurant, but since they had a set meal sign out for lunch, I dropped by for the first time. It was run by an older man and woman who seemed to be a married couple. The woman served customers with a somewhat unique vibe. I think there were about 4 to 5 tables. There were several set meal options, and I chose the pork loin steak lunch for 850 yen. The thick-cut pork had excess fat trimmed off for a healthy finish. I could see it being cooked on the kitchen's iron griddle using a rectangular meat press. The side dish of grilled thin pork belly slices and shimeji mushrooms was a nice touch in terms of volume. The moisture was drawn out of the shimeji grilled on the griddle, boosting their umami flavor 👌 The iced coffee after the meal seems to be a commercially common low-sugar one. I think it's a homey, delicious, and good-value lunch. Photos of 9 types of okonomiyaki were posted on the wall. I think it's easy for first-timers to choose. It seems each costs over a thousand yen.
View on Google【Information as of October 2023】 Mochibuta Tama Modan (¥900+220) It looks a bit small in volume, but it filled me up quite a bit and the taste was delicious ♪ The proprietress has great service, constantly topping up the cold water. Since it seems to be run by a married couple(?), the interior is small, but it had a relaxing atmosphere.
View on GoogleIt's an ordinary okonomiyaki restaurant. It had a homey taste and was so-so delicious. Although it says Hiroshima-style in small letters on the signboard, it's probably best not to pay attention to it. It's unfortunate that the oshibori (wet towel) had a bad smell.
