The shop is about a 7-minute walk from JR Ibaraki Station. Just past Kasugaoka High School. This time, we used it for a drinking party of 7 people. Seats are raised tatami horigotatsu seats. It was a semi-private room with just the right size for 7 people, and we could eat comfortably. Since it's a restaurant famous for beach-grilled seafood (hamayaki), we ordered the satisfaction course (with all-you-can-drink) including hamayaki. Grilled items like scallops, oysters, shrimp, clams, salad, fried food, shirasu rice, and oyster kettle-yaki (steaming oysters in a kettle and drinking the steamed juice together) were deliciously enjoyed, satisfying and full. By the way, all-you-can-drink drinks also had a wide variety, so I drank 2 glasses of Mugi to Hop, 2 glasses of barley shochu on the rocks, 2 glasses of highball, and got drunk.

Thought Hamayaki = seafood is the selling point, but salt tongue and skirt steak are also super tender and delicious! Since it was during Obon and the market was closed, they couldn't procure stock, so the scallops and clams I was aiming for were not available. I had no choice but to order shrimp and oysters. This is also exquisite! Shrimp is served with shells removed so you can eat it as soon as it's grilled, and oysters are plump and large, very filling. The hamayaki soy sauce that you can pour optionally also has dashi and goes well with seafood. (I ordered 2 shrimp, but since there was only 1 left, they brought 3 saying "I'll treat you with the remaining one" 😊 Happy) They come to change the small plates frequently, and the timing of serving food was just right, very satisfied. Drinking 2 glasses each person, eating sashimi, meat, beach-grilled seafood, rock oysters, etc. was about 4000 yen per person, so I think the cost performance is not bad. If you are a person who drinks a lot, I remember there was a 60-minute all-you-can-drink for 980 yen, so it's quite a good deal.

Maruppo', where seafood dishes are delicious. Inside the shop, the staff is energetic and has a very bright atmosphere. They are particular about ingredients, and you can eat large shellfish. If it's oyster season, there are also all-you-can-eat oysters.

It was normally delicious 😀 Particularly delicious was the voluminous karaage! A stove to grill seafood was neatly set at each table. Personally, I felt the broth of clam ramen was strong, but otherwise I was very satisfied!

If you want to eat, it's better to order early. There were many vegetable menus and they were delicious. Tsubugai salad was delicious. Dessert was more luxurious than I thought!
