Finding a high-quality, authentic sushi restaurant in Ibaraki City can be a challenge, but I’ve finally discovered a fantastic one that exceeded all my expectations. The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfectly complementing the attention to detail in every dish. We decided to go with the Kaiseki course, which showcased a variety of beautifully crafted seafood dishes, each one a work of art. The flavors were exquisite, with the freshness of the ingredients shining through in every bite. For sushi enthusiasts, Fukusushi Mori is an absolute must-visit—it’s a true gem that offers an unforgettable dining experience. 😋 Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this is a spot worth adding to your list! February 8, 2026: I revisited the restaurant with my wife and her family today for lunch. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and enjoyed a delicious Japanese course meal. Japanese cuisine has gained immense popularity worldwide, and I’m excited to hear that this restaurant plans to open a new location in California. Given their exceptional quality, I’m confident they will succeed and delight Californians with their offerings.

View on GoogleVisited for the first time after being brought along by a senior colleague. Every single dish was crafted with great care and all were delicious, but the sushi in particular was exceptional. The prices weren't too high, and the shop's atmosphere gave off a nice old-school sushi restaurant vibe, so I'd love to come back again.
View on GoogleAn old-school sushi restaurant. The shop is spacious and I think it's easy to use for groups or memorial services. There is also free parking 😊 I was surprised that the chopstick rests were made of chocolate (haha) It's a pity that the nori seaweed was tough and the chawanmushi wasn't delicious.
View on GoogleThe food is delicious no matter what, the sushi toppings are always tasty, and personally I like sea urchin, sea bream, and eel. The lunch is also reasonably priced, and the seasoning of the side dishes and main dishes is educational as a housewife. The ingredients for the Ehomaki are well-balanced and easy to eat, so I look forward to it every year. The cheerful, beautiful, and friendly landlady and the cheerful master always welcome us warmly. They are deeply rooted in the community, and when my daughter and I run into them in the neighborhood, they call out to us—I am extremely grateful that they are always looking out for us.
