View on GoogleA wonderful shop overflowing with a Showa-era vibe!! Anyone born in the Showa era is bound to be delighted by this place. A somewhat nostalgic atmosphere and taste. The interior makes you feel like you've time-traveled back to your childhood. Please do go check it out (^^)
View on GoogleThis shop is located in a slightly deep spot, one alley in from the main shopping street. You might miss it on your first visit, but that 'hidden gem' feel adds to its charm. I had 10 takoyaki, and one bite brought back memories of childhood—a simple, gentle, nostalgic taste. Unlike the flashy takoyaki of today, there is a rustic deliciousness here. It has a warm atmosphere that shows how much it has been loved by locals for many years, and it's great that you can just drop by casually without any pretense. It's such a wonderful shop that I'll definitely want to visit whenever I'm in the area.
View on GoogleFukuhara Shoten A shop I stopped by because I was craving kaitanyaki (imagawayaki). There are 4 varieties: red bean paste (tsubuan), white bean paste (shiroan), red bean paste with sweet potato, and white bean paste with sweet potato. When I asked for recommendations~ They said the sweet potato version is limited-time only and the red bean paste uses homemadeanko, so I ordered the red bean paste with sweet potato ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ Breaking it open, it's packed with sweet potato. The bean paste has a great azuki bean aroma and an elegant sweetness. The sweet potato is not sweet potato paste, but you can really feel the texture and natural sweetness of the actual sweet potato. Combined with the azuki beans, it creates a flavor I've never tasted before. If I had to say, since it's sweet potato, it's best to eat it while drinking tea (´▽`)/ They also had takoyaki and zenzai, so I'd like to try those if I get the chance♪ Thank you for the meal!
