This restaurant bans children. Don't try to visit as a family as you will be turned away. Why? The owner prefers to welcome smoking inside the cafe instead. The food itself is nothing special. It has nothing to do with Dutch food. A very poor imitation of what people in the Netherlands actually eat.

Very nice place with a friendly owner. As a Dutch person it’s great to enjoy Dutch food like pancakes, erwtensoep and oliebollen occasionally. Healthy options with lots of veggies also available.

You can have Dutch cuisine 🇳🇱 Dutch pancakes are unlike Japanese ones, looking like thick crepes And they are very chewy! A simple pancake with Gouda cheese, when drizzled with plenty of syrup, is sweet, savory, and delicious. The Erwtensoep (pea soup) ordered with it is super thick, thick enough for a spoon to stand up in Both fill you up way more than they look

Stopped by Cafe Reka on the way back from visiting Toka Ebisu Appetizingly, the pannekoek had a strong butter flavor and was delicious even on its own Because it's simple, the goodness of the flavor could be felt It seems like it can be eaten sweet, plain, or savory I wasn't very hungry, so I had it plain this time, but next time I'll want to eat a hearty portion It's a 5-minute walk from Ibaraki-shi Station, so the location is also good

A shop located about a 5-minute walk from Hankyu Ibaraki-shi Station. I came here once with a friend in the past and visited again ✨️ At a glance, the color orange catches your eye, and you can feel the Dutch atmosphere even from the outside! It seems they were also active at the Osaka Kansai Expo, which made me feel nostalgic! Post-Expo ✨️ What I was aiming for was the Dutch pancake, pannekoek For lunch, the set comes with a drink, appetizer, and soup, so I ordered that The lunch pannekoek is "Vergeoise Brune" with beet sugar and butter Since we came as a pair, one ordered the set, and the other ordered a half portion of "Goudse Kaas" (containing Gouda cheese), a pannekoek not included in the set, so we could share! The appetizer and soup were also Dutch dishes, like carrot sirir-style dish and pickled onions, visually vibrant and allowing us to enjoy rich flavors ✨️ The Erwtensoep is a bean soup with a heart-soothing taste The lumpy texture felt homely and warmed me up 😌 And the pannekoek! Even though it's not super thick, it's super chewy! The crunchy sweetness of the beet sugar is very delicious ✨️ Blending with the butter, it's a melting sweetness The Gouda cheese pannekoek has the cheese's unique aroma and saltiness, a deliciousness different from pizza!! Both were very delicious ✨️ The tableware is also cute, Dutch-style tableware that heals you The milk pitcher for the coffee is a charming seagull 🐦️ The coffee has a solid taste and goes well with milk ~ ☕ It's a shop I want to go to again I also want to eat the stroopwafel I had at the Osaka Kansai Expo! By the way, please note that because it's a smoking-allowed shop, those under 20 cannot enter ⚠️ However, they have many takeout products that change by day, like mixed sandwiches, so takeout for a nearby stroll seems good too! You can check the daily variety from their official Facebook
