There is a cafe space where you can enjoy homemade cake with drinks like coffee. This time I bought butter cake for takeout. Rich taste and not greasy so you can eat a whole round cake in one go. The manager is a wonderful grandpa with silver hair, an amazing person who has been awarded and commended by Ibaraki City. He was also certified as a neighbor's national treasure. I want him to continue for a long time.
View on GoogleBoth dining in the shop and takeout are available. A rare shop in today's age where you can enjoy butter cake. There are 19 kinds of coffee, and when you order cake, the master recommends coffee that suits that cake. The inside of the shop has a Showa retro atmosphere and was very calming.
View on GoogleUsed takeout after seeing reviews that there are many butter cream-based cakes. First of all, surprised upon entering! A little surprised by the inside of the shop where documents and cardboard boxes are placed too much. Is it because of the Christmas period? (Even so, too cluttered.) I bought 2 kinds of cakes. The sponge felt dry, but it matched well with the heavy cream, old-fashioned taste. The master served politely. The cafe was almost full of people who looked like regulars, but I think the inside of the shop should be tidied up a little more. The coffee reputation is better, so if you use the cafe, the evaluation may change.
View on GoogleCake shop located near JR Ibaraki Station. When I entered past 15:00, the shop was quite crowded with customers. It's probably a locally loved shop. Are the cakes in the display samples? Honestly, the appearance wasn't very good. However, when I ordered, a different one was brought from the back, so I was relieved. I don't really understand the system around here. Purchase: Sachertorte, Cream Puff Sachertorte: Personally, I didn't find it very delicious... The coated chocolate is too hard and the overall feeling is dry and doesn't melt. Maybe this is such a cake... Cream Puff: It's quite cheap at 100 yen, but honestly convenience store sweets are definitely more delicious lol. There are many other cakes and baked goods so I can't generalize, but honestly I can't recommend it much. This is just a personal impression.
