I had a delicious mazesoba, and I was amazed by its deliciousness from the very first bite. First, the generous amount of chashu is tender, and every bite spreads umami throughout your mouth. The crunchy texture of the menma is also nice, bringing a balance to the whole dish. What was especially impressive were the noodles, which had a firm elasticity and let you feel the flavor of the wheat the more you chewed. The sauce is an elegant seafood soy sauce flavor, exquisitely mingling with the noodles and ingredients, allowing you to enjoy it to the very end without getting tired of it. Homemade chili oil and kelp vinegar are provided on the table, and when I tried them, the flavor changed dramatically. As the master recommends, it might be best to choose either one and enjoy the difference from the original taste. That being said, the initial taste is delicious enough, and I felt it is totally fine to eat it as is without adding seasonings. Overall, it was a bowl where the chunky volume of the meat, the characteristic noodle texture, and the refined sauce flavor harmonized wonderfully.
View on GoogleThe other day, we stopped by to celebrate papa's birthday. The freshness of the fish, the taste of the food, and of course the presentation were beautiful, and papa was happy 🥰🥰 All seats are counter seats, and it was a lot of fun being able to chat with the friendly master. Look forward to seeing you again 🥰🥰
View on GoogleThe simmered Thai child (snapper) is delicious. The herring roe is also well-flavored. The shari for nigiri is a bit firm. The shari for maki is nice. I'm glad there is a parking lot.

Even as a first-time customer like me, I had a fun time as regular customers talked to me. I deliciously enjoyed ingredients carefully selected by the master who told me he has 40 years of craftsmanship history, and the assorted sushi I took home to my mother was still very delicious even after the time it took to get back to Kyoto.
