I went there at the beginning of my semester and the good was amazing but when I’ve tried to go again they’ve constantly told me that they have no space even when they do. I called recently and they said it’s too late to make a reservation and that they’re closed when they are literally open and then don’t close till 1 am. I called at 5 pm. I’m disappointed that each time I’ve gone there or tried to make a reservation they always tell me no. I discussed it with my peers and they have similar experiences. We aren’t Japanese and I’ve been told they don’t like foreigners.

Food came our way too late. We waited about an hour for some small donburi.

It's a shop that always takes good care of me. From 18:00 to around 21:00 it's basically always packed and it's a popular shop where you're lucky if you can walk in with a same-day reservation. If you enter around the second rotation timing you might walk in, but making reservations in advance is recommended! All the dishes are delicious and reasonable. It's a wonderful shop loved by students and locals. There are counter, table, and tatami seating, so you can easily go from one person to a large group! However, since the kitchen is almost a one-man show, it might be tough unless you have the leisure to wait comfortably when it's fully packed.
