Near Hirakata-shi Station Entered before noon and it was relatively empty, so I could sit without waiting. Cabbage, shijimi clam soup, and rice are free to refill. Changing shijimi clam soup to tonjiru is +220 yen
View on GoogleVisited after a long time. I didn't have very good memories of this branch and had been keeping my distance, but since Hirakata Mall opened, my usual spots on the north side of the station were packed and I couldn't get in, so I decided to drop by. The time was just past 12:00, the peak hour, but as expected, being on the south side of the station, it wasn't crowded and I was able to be seated immediately. Previously, perhaps due to the poor level of the floor staff, I was left unattended after being guided to my seat without anyone coming to take my order, but this time I was glad someone came right away. I ordered the chuck roll tonkatsu and changed the pork miso soup, and since they had chawanmushi, I tried to order that too, but unfortunately, they said they were out of it. When it was served, I had a bite with salt; the outside was crispy and the inside was juicy, truly living up to Wako. This branch has good cooking skills, but unfortunately, their service is just no good... 😓 This time I changed to pork miso soup again, but the miso soup was boiling hot and burned me so much... Boiling miso soup is not the level of a restaurant, though. 😅 It was so hot that I wanted some cold water, but at the end they serve hot hojicha (roasted green tea). 😅 It was delicious as always, but it was a bit of a disappointing restaurant. 😁
View on GoogleI had the tenderloin katsu set meal (1140 yen before tax). Rice, clam miso soup, and cabbage are all-you-can-refill. It's in the Shokuyukan building (same as Kentucky and Daiki Suisan) next to Aeon (Viorne) at Hirakata-shi Station.
View on GoogleThe rice was delicious, but I could hear two part-time girls and the manager? chatting away the whole time, and I wondered about that. Also, while I was eating, I heard the word "cockroach" and it was unpleasant. They actually came out into the restaurant and a part-time girl chased it outside... To be frank, it wasn't a comfortable place to be. It's great that the rice, cabbage, and clam miso soup can be refilled!
View on GoogleI love the old-school tonkatsu restaurant vibe. The batter is crispy and the meat is plump. The shrimp are plump and the cream croquette was the most delicious I've ever had. Rice and cabbage are all-you-can-refill! The cabbage is sliced thinly and is fluffy. My elderly parents also happily ate it.
