Passing by nearby during business hours, I bought takoyaki (ponzu & green onion topping, sauce) to take home. You can choose the number of pieces per pack, and I bought the 6-piece pack for 450 yen. The price is moderate, but each piece is very large and extremely filling. The takoyaki itself is typical Osaka style, with a sweet, creamy, gooey center, and could be enjoyed piping hot even after taking it home. The taste isn't bad at all, and the sauce has a quite spicy, tangy, and zesty flavor. The ponzu is a bit strong on the saltiness, but overall it had an addictive flavor and I enjoyed it deliciously. Definitely worth a repeat.

Hirakata City Near Tsuda Station Takoyaki shop "Takaryu" located right in front of Kansai Mirai Bank on the side across the traffic light after exiting the Tsuda Station roundabout I ordered in advance while visiting the nearby orthopedic clinic! 3 packs of 9 pieces (sauce) ¥670✖️3 1 Ryuchan-yaki ¥300 Total ¥2310 Since the orthopedic appointment was at 4 PM, roughly guessing it might be around 4:30 to 5 PM~ They said they'll make it ready by around 4:30 Ryuchan-yaki cools down fast so they asked me to wait a little when picking it up so they can grill it fresh, so I agreed to that. I always pass by this road on my commute so I always thought oh there's a takoyaki shop~ but since it only opens from 3 PM and there's no parking space I'm so glad I was finally able to buy it this time 🎵 While waiting for payment after my mother's orthopedic checkup, I went to pick up the takoyaki! Around 4:36 PM, almost right on time They cooked it according to that timing so it was piping hot 🎵 They grilled the Ryuchan-yaki right at that moment. Ryuchan-yaki, named after the takoyaki shop, consists of two slightly large takoyaki flattened with a spatula on a griddle, an egg cracked onto the iron plate with the yolk slightly mixed, tenkasu and cheese placed on top of the egg, and the flattened takoyaki placed on top of that. This looked insanely delicious even while it was being cooked----!!!! Takoyaki here has a reputation for being delicious, and on weekends it gets extremely crowded with crazy long waits. According to the owner, the longest wait this weekend was an hour and a half... Prices are going up nowadays so we can't afford any waste, which means we can't just cook things in advance, so when it's busy customers just have to wait, he said apologetically! I heard from a friend who frequently buys takoyaki here that it's best to order first then pick it up, so I ordered ahead and while they made the Ryuchan-yaki I just waited, making the purchase smooth 🎵 We ate it among the three of us at home, but the size of one piece was maybe twice as big as other shops? So 9 pieces made us full Mom gave up after 6 pieces~ She asked for help, but my stomach couldn't take anymore either (haha) Since they are large balls, one piece is incredibly filling, so 6 might just be the right amount? This was truly a genuine large-ball takoyaki 🎵 It seems this large takoyaki got bigger and bigger as the owner happily gave generous sizes because customers kept praising how delicious the batter was (haha) Anyway, kids and girls will definitely love Ryuchan-yaki! If you like cheese, you'll definitely say it's delicious ~ ❤︎ Flavors are sauce, salt, ponzu Green onion topping available Sauce comes with plenty of mayonnaise 🎵 Older folks might find the flavor a bit strong! Salt or ponzu might feel lighter? I have another orthopedic appointment next time so I plan to order salt or ponzu 🎵

Hirakata City, Osaka Prefecture. Opened in 2014. A yellow sign and red letters stand out along the road in front of the station. In addition to takoyaki, they sell arranged dishes with egg and cheese, and drinks. Takedown takeout past 8 PM on a weekday in June 2025. Looking for a quick dinner replacement I could eat immediately. Takoyaki is 6 pieces for 450 yen, 9 pieces for 670 yen, 12 pieces for 850 yen. ■Purchase■※Tax included I bought the 12-piece pack. They asked about mayonnaise and aonori so I got everything on it. Comes with disposable wooden chopsticks. True to the description of large balls, they are on the larger side. My stomach was satisfied. The sauce is on the sweeter side. Octopus is small to medium. Probably not suited for hard-core octopus lovers. Dashi flavor is faint. Since I like soft and gooey, the texture is to my liking. Not suited for people who prefer crispy textures. Price-wise, it offers a satisfying full stomach. ■Summary■ ・For those who want to fill their stomach ・For lovers of sweet sauce ・For lovers of soft and gooey textures ・For bicycle parking, using a nearby paid coin parking lot is safest. Thank you for the meal (*^^*)

I went aiming for tornado french fries, but currently due to corona? Sales are suspended, and instead I was recommended "Ryuchan-yaki" (sorry if the name is wrong. I'll correct it later). It's like a smashed takoyaki, looking like okonomiyaki, but as the owner explained, it contains octopus and melty cheese, and it was freaking delicious. It was a place where it's hard to park a car so I had never been there, but I was surprised after visiting. With a cheap price of 230 yen, this deliciousness!! It was a B-grade gourmet food with the best cost performance. When driving, it might be best to temporarily park at the Tsuda Station roundabout and walk over. The preparation time isn't that long, under 5 minutes. Shorter than waiting in the car for someone getting off the train.

This is a shop I drop by when I have business around Tsuda Station, but whenever I go there is a wait, so it's safe to prepare to wait about 30 to 60 minutes ( ̄▽ ̄; This time the wait was 20 minutes, so it was relatively short (*≧∀≦*) Forgot to take a picture... I bought and ate the 12-piece salt-flavored pack for 850 yen, it was voluminous, gooey, and delicious (๑>؂<๑) Ryuchan-yaki seems to be made from leftover? takoyaki, and takes even longer, so I gave up this time ((´;ω;`) I'll drop by again when I have business near Tsuda Station ♡(๑♡ᴗ♡๑)
