Nice, Japnese western style lunch for a budget of 1000 ~ 1500 yen. The lunch special A/B are 950 yen and serve a good variety in one dish, so I would recommend that for first-timers.

This place offers a good selection of yoshoku and Kansai Gaidai students can get a 50-yen discount if they present their student IDs. If you're looking for more advanced Japanese cuisines, I cannot recommend this to you. But if you're on a budget and just want some comfort food, you've come to the right place.

Great little restaurant that does a wide range of different foods. The take away bento options are also taste great and are fantastic value.

Roro is a great mom and pop place for Japanese comfort food, like omrice, fried shrimp, and pork and curry cutlets. If you can't read the menu, you can also order the A set or the B set, which changes daily and comes with miso, salad, and rice. You won't be disappointed.
