Stepping into Kissaten Ron in Hirakata feels like entering a time capsule from the Showa era. The warm, retro atmosphere, soft lighting, and plush seating invite you to slow down and savor the moment. I ordered the signature Chocolate Parfait, and it was a tower of nostalgia—soft serve, whipped cream, bananas, and a generous drizzle of chocolate, all served in a tall glass that looked like something from a 1970s coffee ad. The staff were kind, the vibe was cozy, and the experience left me smiling longer than expected. It’s not just a café—it’s a quiet moment of Kyoto-Osaka charm, frozen in time.

View on GoogleA classic Showa-style coffee shop with delicious food! A classic coffee shop popular among young people for its oversized parfaits and sweets. Actually, the food menu is also quite delicious The daily special is around 1000 yen with a hearty main dish, salad, and soup, making you very full A la carte menus are also widely available such as pilaf and doria Among them, I personally recommend the pasta where you can fully enjoy the taste of a coffee shop Napolitan, tomato sauce, carbonara, all are nostalgic and truly delicious 🤤 A precious space where you can relax with a Jump magazine in hand, I hope this shop continues forever!
View on GoogleIt's a Showa-era kissaten like the ones I used to go to when I was a kid. It gives you a somewhat nostalgic feeling. Usually, this type of place is cash only, but I'm grateful that this shop accepts PayPay. I'll stop by again when I come to Hirakata!
View on GoogleKissaten Ron, full of Showa feeling, the goal was the big size chocolate pale (lol). Chocolate parfaits with no bottom up (lol) It was a little over 1000 yen, but with such a solid fullness, I think it's cheap, and the service was fast. The store is also large. Since it's a smoking-allowed shop, I think it's ideal for smokers. Non-smokers might think 'whoa' the moment they step in (lol)
