Very good value fixed price dinner. As we had a vegan in our party, they prepared a vegan meal for us. But we did call ahead the previous day along with the reservation. I am not certain one can ask for vegan walk-in.
View on GoogleA very casual atmosphere and cosy. Located on narrow lane not too far from the commercial area.

View on GoogleBeing an organic-style restaurant, my wife and I visited for dinner. When you first decide on the main menu, you receive 2 coins, and for side dishes, you go and choose them yourself from the showcase at the entrance. Personally, I quite like this system, and the time spent thinking 'What should I have today?' is also fun. However, Having a word saying, 'Please let the staff know once you've chosen' at the beginning would probably make first-time visitors able to take their seats with a smoother flow. In fact, the two of us also stood there for a while wondering what we were supposed to do. The simmered daikon radish chosen as a side dish was reheated in the microwave before being served. When the food arrived, I first took a sip of the miso soup. It was properly piping hot, which I honestly appreciated. Next was the tempura. In the center of the table was something like table salt?, but the salt for the tempura was Himalayan rock salt. Such minute thoughtfulness is an appreciated point. The rice is multi-grain rice. This time I ordered the Spanish mackerel grilled with green onion miso, but the seasoning felt like it had a richness somewhat resembling mayonnaise, and overall the impression was of dishes using oil. The water available included herb water and lemon water, and being able to choose with or without ice is a quietly pleasant touch. Also, I noticed after finishing eating, that drinks seemed to be self-service. The staff who served us looked like they were teaching a newcomer, so my impression was that perhaps they couldn't convey everything due to being in training. I didn't feel any unpleasantness regarding that point. The taste was properly delicious overall, and rather than a so-called 'health nut shop', it has the atmosphere of a cafe casually visited by families, loved by locals for a long time. I saw reviews saying lunch is a bit pricey, but considering it as a dinner set meal, I didn't feel it was specially expensive. This time the menu structure was 'a calm set meal to eat at night'. Rather than for tourists, It's an establishment with a temperature suitable for neighborhood people for everyday use.
View on GoogleI had the natural shrimp and Japanese yam shiso spring rolls from the set menu. The seasoning was gentle and very delicious.
