2026.6 【No Smoking】〇 【Would Visit Again】〇 【Speed】〇 【Payment Method】Cash An soba restaurant in Kawaramachi near Hirakata-shi Station. It's a place I've been curious about for a long time but never quite had the chance to visit. The Ichirin Set, a combination of tendon and soba, seems to be popular, but thinking I didn't need rice, I chose the tenzaru (tempura with cold soba). I was told tenzaru takes time, but I ordered it anyway. It certainly took time and I waited about 30 minutes. Tendon comes out fast, so why... remained a mystery, but there were other people ordering tenzaru too, so it seems popular. 2 shrimp, pumpkin, nori seaweed, shishito pepper, lotus root, eggplant, plenty of vegetables. Served with momiji oroshi (grated daikon radish with chili). The shrimp were large and satisfying to eat, and getting this much tempura at this price felt like a good deal. The soba noodles were quite thin and had a refreshing, crisp taste. For a moment I thought the portion might be small, but that wasn't the case at all. I got to enjoy plenty. Since it has great cost performance and good service, I can understand why it's popular.

(Visited 2026/03 lunchtime) Ordered the following: ・Zaru soba [700 yen] Short soba noodles. Quite voluminous. Slurping feel is fairly good. You can properly taste the soba flavor, delicious. Other customers were ordering the bowl and soba set meal. A lively and atmospheric restaurant.

A popular restaurant with outstanding cost performance that soba lovers should visit at least once. This is my 2nd visit, and once again it was a highly satisfying meal. Visited around 12:30 on a Saturday. The restaurant was lively, but I was able to enter without waiting. Turnover seems good, so even if there's a bit of a line, you should get in relatively quickly. Ordered the Tanindon Set (zaru soba change) for 950 yen. The soba is thin, goes down smoothly, has a solid portion size, and gives a high sense of satisfaction. I couldn't help thinking, 'For this price?' I used to drive far away just to eat soba, but this has reached a level where I think, 'If I want soba, I'll come here.' Note that they are only open from 11 AM to 3 PM, excluding Sundays and holidays. There is a 60-minute 200-yen coin parking nearby, making it easy to visit by car. (Saturday pricing. Weekdays are a bit more expensive.) Recommended for anyone who wants to casually eat delicious soba.

◆Tabelog: Nekoshi ◆Instagram: nekoshi310 (Nekoshi Sato) Reposted from an article. 【Crowd Status】 Arrived at 1:15 PM on a weekday. The restaurant was full, but there was no waiting line, and luckily someone was leaving, so I got to sit after waiting just 1 minute ♪ I was saved when I was about to become a lunch refugee because all the shops I aimed for were sold out and closed. Since it's a homemade soba restaurant, I wondered if it would be a bit expensive, but when I sat down and looked at the menu, I was shocked! Why is it so cheap? Here is an excerpt: ・Egg Bowl + Soba 800 yen ・Oyakodon + Soba 900 yen ・Tendon + Soba 950 yen ・Zaru Udon 700 yen ・Tenzaru Udon 1,250 yen, etc. Let's go with the Ichirin Set featuring my favorite tendon ♪ By the way, changing to zaru soba is an extra 50 yen. ◆Ichirin Set (Zaru Soba) Tax included 950 yen + 50 yen The soba is whitish and extremely thin. Piled up high, the portion is generous and voluminous. It makes you think, 'Is it okay to have this much for such a low price?' There are some slightly short pieces, but the value is so great that it's totally forgivable ♪ Because they are thin, they have a delicate texture, which is delicious in its own way. However, the soba dipping broth has restrained sweetness, so it wasn't to my preference since I like sweeter broth. The tendon dipping broth was surprisingly sweet, reminiscent of unagi sauce. A simple mini tendon with shrimp, eggplant, nori, and perilla leaf. It's sweeter than normal tendon, but I don't hate it. Actually, I might like it. I finished with soba-yu (hot soba water) and was extremely satisfied. This place is super cheap and quite delicious, so it's definitely a hidden gem. It's very kind on the wallet and a truly good restaurant. I hope a place like this keeps doing its best for a long time.
