Dropped by to fill my stomach before the Hirapar event. Cash and payment at the seat 💵 only. I ordered zaru soba and it arrived in about 5 minutes experientially! Maybe because it was empty? It's plenty for the amount you get for 550 yen! Plus, it's easy to eat. Mitsuya Cider is served in a glass bottle. It's been so long since I poured it into a cup myself ✨ I deducted just one star because I'm worried about the faded food samples on the exterior and the female staff standing by in the hall waiting. Prices are reasonable, which is nice. If I come to Hirakata City again, I'd like to eat katsudon next time.

This is a set meal shop located right near Keihan Hirakata-Koen Station. It has a nostalgic feel, and after wondering about it for a long time, I finally visited. Nostalgia drifts from inside the shop, and the interior is quite spacious. Ordered the katsudon for 850 yen. Payment is prepayment system, paid at the seat. The katsudon is simmered in a dark-colored broth, and the egg consistency is just right. The flavor isn't as strong as the color of the soup suggests. Comes with miso soup and pickles. The interior is unexpectedly spacious, and the vibe of an old-school dining hall is very nice.

It was very lovely with the feel of an old-school dining hall. The katsudon had a thin batter, and the meat was plump and delicious. The rice wasn't soaked through with soup, but enough to firmly feel the rice grains, and the taste gave a sense of security. I want to go again. The prepayment in cash is also unusual, but since foreign guests were also coming, I thought it was a foolproof and wonderful method.
