My wife and I made a reservation for our anniversary lunch here, and it was beyond every expectation. We took seats right in front of the grill so we could see the chef in action, which was definitely the right way to go. His attention to detail and care for every element made our experience magical. Our course started with a minced beef tendon shumai with a deep, spiced beef flavor; the most tender beef tongue that I've ever had; and a soft meat tart. The next course had incredibly creamy torches shirako in a cassis, black vinegar, and dashi reduction sauce, accompanied by perfectly tender Brussels sprouts. Another course had firefly squid and abalone with vegetables and confit garlic in flavored rice oil, which was so addictive that I was sad to see it go. However, we were able to use it to dip our seasonal vegetables. There's an option to choose five different seasonal vegetables served with Korean salt, matcha salt, and yuzu salt, and the flavored oil helps the salt stick to the vegetables. The variety will depend on what is in the market, but I got to try parsley root, yellow carrot, and red daikon. The beef was like nothing else I've ever had. The 70 day aged beef was like a cloud of meat, enhanced by sulfurous salt, wasabi, and the most delicate soy sauce foam I've ever heard of. The presentation was artful and energetic, but the flavor and texture are what my mind keeps returning to. We had a garlic rice with torched Camembert and foie gras as our final course, followed by a strawberry cheesecake enhanced by floral microgreens. Not too sweet, but very intense in flavor. We had artisan coffee and organic tea as accompaniments. We had no alcohol but there is an extensive wine list and a well-stocked bar. For nonalcoholic drinks, I recommend the elderflower soda - the taste profile is perfect for this meal.

View on GoogleThere's nothing else to say except that everything has depth of flavor and is delicious! Precisely because everything is delicious, I can't pinpoint which one is the best! I felt that the owner spends a great deal of time on preparation! Hearing that everything is made from scratch by themselves, I felt that the cooking of someone serious is in a different league! I'll go again!
View on GoogleI've come so many times I've lost count. The teppanyaki here is not just ordinary teppanyaki! There is depth to each and every dish. You can also feel the owner's strong dedication to food. And the efficiency and etiquette are wonderful! Since my house is far, I can't easily visit, but it's a restaurant that brings joy to anyone I introduce it to. Not just courses, there are also a la carte items and an abundance of soft drinks, so even those who don't drink alcohol can enjoy it! Everything you eat is truly all delicious! Thank you as always.
View on GoogleHISUI201, which I've been curious about for a long time! This time, I made a reservation for 5 people at lunchtime and had what they call the Kogyoku Course. In addition to artistically looking dishes, every single piece of tableware is so lovely! With each dish that comes out, first moved by the appearance! And with an elegant and reliable taste that matches it ✨ It's a genuinely deliciousness that makes you think, after eating a full course, you want to eat the exact same thing again, and you actually can! It's a shop where I want to go eat again as a reward to myself ♡ The owner is also a very friendly, easy-to-talk-to, and fun person. Thank you truly for the happy time!
