Always a popular restaurant with endless lines, but it was 1:10 PM on a Saturday. Got lucky this day as we got in without waiting. Waited at the seats inside the shop and were called at 1:19 PM. Upon entering the shop, the rich, wonderful aroma of "katsuobushi broth" greeted us, ◆ Today's Special 《Chicken & Chikuwa Tempura Curry Udon (with small rice)》 The broth further enhances the depth of the curry. It is said to luxuriously use 4 types of natural katsuobushi and high-quality kelp. The two large "chicken tempura" pieces are super juicy! Chikuwa tempura and flavorful "beef" are also included, making it very luxurious. Soaked in the curry broth, it's super delicious. The "noodles," made from a proprietary blend of 100% domestic wheat from Hokkaido and Kyushu, have a firm "chewiness (koshi)," making the deliciousness of the udon itself stand out. The accompanying "daikon radish pickles" are refreshing and make just the right chopstick rest. By throwing in the set "small rice" at the end, it's a highly satisfying content where you can fully savor the deliciousness of the broth without waste. My friend had the "Katsu Curry Udon" topped with the shop's specialty pork cutlet (hirekatsu). This also looked voluminous and delicious. I was also curious about the "Shirotama Zenzai" dessert on the menu. Around the time I finished eating, I heard the staff's voice saying, "There are 15 people waiting." Customers kept visiting incessantly after that. Truly a powerhouse store among Tabelog's Top 100. Spent a blissful lunchtime wrapped in the aroma of the broth.

Ordered the popular Katsu Curry Udon. The taste of the curry broth was solid, greatly boosting the appetite! Depending on the shop, there are places where the cutlet meat is sometimes super thin, making you say, "Isn't the thickness of the batter [mainly used for commercial deep-frying] thicker than the meat?!" But this place has meat with a solid thickness, delicious & voluminous. For a split second, I almost ordered a single serving of rice, but remembering from my previous visit that the noodle portion here is large from the start, I stopped. Saved just in time before my stomach got too bloated! What's worth mentioning is the beef with a slightly sweet taste, which hit the bullseye for me. My accompanying wife ordered today's special, the Chicken & Chikuwa Tempura Curry Udon. This also seemed delicious. The chicken tempura was large in size and seemed filling and satisfying. The staff's customer service is also pleasant. The only slight disappointment is that the in-store BGM volume is a bit loud. Everything else is perfect. Also, the visit was around 1 PM on a Saturday, and we got lucky with only one group waiting, getting seated after about a 10-minute wait. By the time we left, there were 15 groups waiting. Thanks to last year's Expo? Kansai people have drastically improved their waiting-time tolerance, but still, this place requires preparedness for wait times (lol). Endure it because you will definitely be satisfied after the meal

It was a weekday, but several people had written their names on the board even before opening and were waiting for it to open. Visiting alone around 12 PM, since it was counter seats, I was able to sit without waiting. Ordered the Onsen Tamago Chicken Tempura Curry Udon. From the photo, the presence of the chicken tempura was amazing, so when they said white rice could be added for free as a service, I declined because I wasn't confident I could finish it, but declining was the right choice. The photo on the menu was not exaggerated; the real thing is also extremely voluminous. The chicken tempura had a crispy batter, was juicy inside, wasn't dry at all, and was super delicious. The curry also had a gentle broth flavor, and the sweet beef served as an accent. As for the crucial hand-made udon, maybe it didn't leave that much of an impression...? The udon is of course delicious, but the deliciousness of the chicken tempura overshadowed the udon. They also give you a paper apron, which is great so you can go eat even in a white shirt. Around 12:30 PM, there was a wait, and people were waiting for openings in the outside parking lot, so an early visit is recommended. Payment was cash only.
