We dropped by 'Atchan no Daidokoro', about a 3-minute walk from the east exit of Keihan Railway's 'Hirakata-shi Station'. What we had this time: 'Potato and macaroni salad with iburigakko and cream cheese' 'Shrimp tossed in spicy mayonnaise' 'Basic sausage pizza' 'Curry zosui'. First, the potato and macaroni salad with iburigakko and cream cheese. The rich body of cream cheese is added to smooth potatoes and macaroni, and the smoked aroma and texture of iburigakko provide an exquisite accent. A dish that goes well with alcohol. The shrimp tossed in spicy mayonnaise has an outstanding balance of plump textured shrimp, rich mayonnaise, and just the right amount of spice. It makes your chopsticks keep moving. The basic sausage pizza is handmade from the dough. Baked to a fragrant finish, it was topped with plenty of melting cheese and juicy sausage, making it a simple yet highly satisfying piece. The curry zosui we had to finish was a gentle-tasting dish where the umami of the dashi stock and the richness of the curry could be properly felt. Perfect for after drinking, and delicious until the very end. The conversation with the friendly owner was also fun, and the restaurant's charm is its homey atmosphere. It was a cozy place widely usable from drinking alone to dining with friends. Thank you for the meal! 🍻✨ 9-15 Kawaramachi, Hirakata City, Osaka Prefecture Atchan no Daidokoro Hirakata Main Store PR @altuchan.kitchen #Gourmet #Izakaya #Alcohol #JapaneseFood #JapaneseRestaurant #WesternFood #WesternRestaurant #HirakataGourmet
View on GoogleThis is a creative izakaya founded in 1997 located in Kawaramachi, Hirakata City. The repertoire of the menu is extremely wide, ranging from Japanese food to pizza, and what's wonderful is that everything has great cost performance. Of particular note is the 'Pizza with plenty of raw vegetables'. Visually it looks completely like a piled-up salad to the extent that the dough cannot be seen, but when you eat it, the integration of tomato sauce and dough is exquisite, and you can enjoy it refreshingly like a salad. It's a dish worth visiting just for this. Also, the finishing 'Curry Zosui' was exquisite. Since it's zosui rather than doria, the dashi stock comes through, and it goes down smoothly even as a post-drinking finisher. Served in an earthenware pot, I was able to enjoy the scorched rice at the very end. Dishes like the 'Potato salad with iburigakko and cream cheese' and 'Shrimp tossed in spicy mayonnaise' are all menu items with a high degree of completion as drinking accompaniments. As for drinks, the 'Wine Spritzer', made by mixing white wine with tonic water, went very well with the food. There are many regulars, and it's a wonderful, lively restaurant.

View on GoogleWent around 8 PM on Saturday Due to the year-end party season it was fully booked, but since I had a reservation I could sit Perhaps partly because it was crowded, it took quite a while for the ordered food to come out The food was quite delicious
View on GoogleI wouldn't even take it for free. People who enjoy power harassment should go regardless of the taste. I sat at the counter... Thinking it would be a fun seat where I could watch food being made right in front of me turned out to be completely counterproductive. They were yelling at and reprimanding a female clerk, and it's just unbearable. It wasn't extremely crowded; in a quiet restaurant with only three people—just the two of us and one regular—a barrage of nasty words echoed through. The dishes with mediocre seasoning tasted even worse. Some people occasionally say it's delicious, so was it like that before? Asari clam steamed in sake with too much salt, lotus root dumpling heavy on oil, watery juice, and other dishes that can only be described as disappointing. Several acquaintances of mine have eaten at this restaurant and said the same thing. Oily lotus root dumpling eaten while listening to shouting voices. Were lotus root dumplings always that greasy and sticky? Food should be enjoyed not just for its taste, but with the heart as well, otherwise it cannot be eaten deliciously. Eating while listening to foul language felt like chewing sand. I don't recommend it, or rather I recommend not going. I'm worried about the mental state of the clerk who was being yelled at.
