What a lovely out-of-the-way place! Delicious food, great atmosphere, fabulous views, fresh air, kind friendly staff, and not too crowded. Just perfect! And very reasonable prices! If you’re going by car be prepared for some steep narrow scary roads! It’s probably easier to drive from the Nara side of the mountain. A few places for on-road parking. If it were closer I’d go more often...but then again I probably wouldn’t! It’s a great place where it is! Most highly recommended!

You can see the city from here with good food and coffee. This little place is a secret gem on top of the mountain. I am very happy to stop here.

stumbled on this little cafe during a hike and it was the perfect spot to rest and relax while having lunch. The cafe is cosy, and has a lovely view of the fields outside. Service was prompt and friendly. Must try the cola!

2018.11.13初來店 Lovely place with lovely owner. Too bad I have to get down the 生駒山 before dark. Grabbed a little cake and is super delicious. Will visit this shop again if I have chance to do so some years later.

This is lovely spot located on the border-line (literally) between Osaka and Nara Prefectures. Great atmosphere, great views, great food, all very reasonable. Well worth a visit.
