Today I called ahead, and the man who answered said they open at 11, so if I came between 11 and 15 minutes after, they would accept my lantern application. I arrived in time for opening, decided to have lunch too, and went in, but was that the owner's wife? From entering to leaving it was utterly unpleasant(when serving water, handing over the menu, or taking things away, she made clattering noises and acted curtly. I dislike soft-cooked eggs, so I asked for the egg to be firm when ordering, but my dish was brought first, and when I nervously opened the lid it was completely soft-cooked. The flavor was strong, and I left more than half). An elderly lady handled the lantern application. Collection was after 3 in the afternoon. This was supposed to be a lantern application for the joyous Jizobon celebration, and I never expected to be made so uncomfortable. I want to look forward to collecting it(even though we were the only ones there from entering to leaving, I will turn it into a funny storyー)
View on GoogleI had curry udon with egg and a meat topping. I have tried all the nearby places serving udon, and this is the best. Look at the bowl the udon is served in. You can clearly see their dedication to udon. The definitely-not-cheap pricing must reflect their confidence. The portions are impressive, as you would expect for the price. Men might want noodles+a rice dish too, but… Do not. The udon alone is satisfying enough. If you order a rice bowl and udon, the portions will be too much to finish. Delicious, plentiful, satisfying! The service is good too, with paper aprons provided. When I visited, there were about 4 groups of apparently familiar regulars. If I had to raise one issue, the seats along the wall are cramped and uncomfortable. Height 167cm Weight 55kg Even I, with a slim build for a man, found sitting there uncomfortable.
View on GoogleI had meat udon, topped with beef shigureni-style meat. It tasted nostalgic. It was delicious.
View on GoogleSurrounded by the pleasant sound of taiko drums, I love tempura bukkake in summer! Cold, firm udon, freshly fried tempura, and delicious dashi! Today I drank every last drop of broth again!
View on GoogleThe prices are steep, but the portions are quite substantial, a place with high stomach satisfaction.
