The satisfaction of 5 chicken tender tempura! Just the right bowl of light taste × volume 【Visit Info】 ・Day: Saturday ・Arrival Time: around 11:30 ・Wait: about 3 groups ・Until Seated: about 15 mins ・Order check during wait (just waiting is OK after entering) 【Order】 ・Chicken Tender Tempura Bukkake + Kayaku Gohan (1,300 yen) *Changed chicken tender tempura from grated daikon ('oroshi') to hot spring egg ('onsen tamago') 【Impressions】 ・Udon is not too firm (koshi), smooth and easy to eat ・Tempura is 1 shiso leaf + 5 chicken tender tempura ・Chicken tender tempura thought to be light style, but well-seasoned ・Surprisingly filling and satisfying ・Having 5 pieces is a happy point 【Notes】 ・About 15 mins until bowl served ・Cash only (no cashless payments) 【Overall Verdict】 Light-textured udon with the volume of 5 seasoned chicken tender tempura is just right. Good balance of light × satisfying, a bowl perfect for lunch.

Ate the kamatama udon and kayaku gohan set. The udon was chewy and had the strongest chew (koshi) among what I've eaten recently. I got hooked on the udon's texture so the kayaku gohan ended up last, but it was delicious. Since the udon had a sufficient portion, I felt that just the single dish with some tempura toppings would have been the exact right amount for me. I'd like to try other udon too, so I feel a slight bit of regret that it's not within a distance I can visit anytime. This time I just happened to drop by on the way for an errand, and it was very fortunate that I got in without waiting.
