A diner where you can get takeout or eat inside. There is also a second floor. The udon with a gentle dashi broth is great, and whatever you order is delicious!! The staff are also kind, and it's cozy, so I keep going back. At lunchtime, it's a huge hit and can sometimes be fully booked. But since takeout is also available, either way was no problem!!
View on GoogleThe noodles are regular udon, and the dashi broth has a yuzu-like aroma and flavor. The menu is extensive, and they also have Kasu udon, which is typical of Osaka. Set meals are the main offering, and they also do bento boxes for takeout. The interior is not non-smoking, so please be careful if you dislike cigarette smoke.
View on GoogleThis restaurant is somewhat cheap when it comes to lunch! They have a refreshing-tasting udon that you don't see at other restaurants. (I think eating it is suited for summer.) The rice ball on the lunch menu was bigger than I thought!
View on GoogleI had the Western-style katsudon set. The mini udon was served in a miso-soup-sized portion, amounting to something like wanko udon rather than wanko soba. Having shiso in the salad felt a bit subtle to me, but people who like it might like it. I'm not a fan of shiso, but I'll rate it 3 stars for now anyway.
View on GoogleJust as the restaurant's name is Tongarashi (Chili), I had the super spicy soba for ¥640 🤗 For me, who loves extreme spice, the level of spiciness was underwhelming. It had a delicious dashi, so I should have just eaten the regular soba 😬
