We participated in their soba making workshop, booked through the Asoview platform, and it was an amazing experience. The sensei were so friendly, kind and patient with us even though we cannot speak Japanese. So grateful to learn soba making with my children from someone who is passionate about his craft. We brought our handmade soba back to the apartment to cook and it was delicious. The restaurant only opens for lunch. Hope we can visit next time to try their food too!
View on GoogleEven though I've gone back and forth on the street in front of this shop and dining in nearby places many times, it might be hard to notice since I didn't notice it at all, but I visited after being told by an acquaintance about a place with delicious soba. If you come by car, you have to park in a nearby coin parking lot, but once you arrive at the shop, it makes you feel like you can enjoy it with a tasteful atmosphere. I visited just past lunch time, and coincidentally there was no outside waiting, so I thought 'Is the entrance really here?' and it might be hard to enter, but it's recommended. After entering 2 sliding doors, you can do the reception inside the shop. The inside of the shop is not so big, but the deliciousness comes across from the atmosphere. In the tatami room, you can see the courtyard and enjoy a leisurely time. Ordered Zaru Soba (1.5 servings). The soba has chewiness and you can feel it's handmade. The flavor of 100% buckwheat soba can be felt perfectly. In terms of volume, 1.5 servings felt lacking. I was impressed to see egg yolk served with zaru soba for the first time in a while, feeling nostalgic. Next time, I'd like to try other sobas.
View on GoogleFound by chance, a jackpot at an atmospheric 100% buckwheat soba shop! It was a little early for lunch, but feeling 'this is fate!' and entered the shop. The inside of the shop is also calm and has a good atmosphere. Ordered the simplest **'Zaru Soba'**. For Zaru Soba, the 'tsuyu' is the deciding factor! First checked the taste of the soba tsuyu. With a deep taste amidst the mellowness, expectations rose. First, a bite of soba without condiments. Surprised by the firmness and elasticity the moment it entered the mouth! So impressed that I thought 'Is 100% soba this powerful?', fully satisfying! After that, enjoy the taste change with condiments, and finally thoroughly enjoy the soba-yu. Being able to eat this quality of 100% buckwheat soba at this price is truly wonderful. Super satisfied. Thank you for the meal 🙏 P.S. Air conditioning was on in the toilet, feeling careful consideration!
View on GooglePraised soba tasted in a traditional house over 100 years old Greeted by a stone mill soba grinder Ordered Shakuchiri soba and Wariko A la carte tempura It was delicious. Personally, the tempura was disappointing Seasonal items I would have been happy if there was an additional menu even for a separate charge Very ordinary tempura ingredients for some reason felt defeated by the atmosphere
View on GoogleWent to a soba restaurant in a good atmosphere traditional house~ Waited about 15 minutes at the entrance and 10 minutes inside the shop and got seated 💪 Feels like eating in a Showa-style house! Seating arrangement full at 15 people! Not crowded at all and a mystery crosses my head! Customers 2-3 groups ahead still don't seem to have their soba served lol 😆 What are you waiting for! Even though the kitchen looked bustling lol! After that, serving starts one group at a time lol The couple after ordered beer! Probably thinking while nibbling tempura 🍤 etc. 😆 Waiting 40 minutes! Ate in 5 minutes and went home! Tempura that wasn't piping hot and soba were delicious—normally! A shop that's probably impossible for lunch break!
