A true gem in Ishikiri! Really only one item on the menu, Akashiyaki, and the love and care they have put into that one item for decades really shows! Large, fluffy “tamagoyaki” (basically a lighter, egg-forward takoyaki) that you dip into extremely delicate, flavorful, but almost clear broth served in a cute octopus pot. Served with mitsuba and pickled ginger to your liking. Price is very reasonable as well. Honestly, this is better Akashiyaki than you can get in the city of Akashi itself! Shop is very tidy and comfortable. Service is quick and friendly, with complementary cold tea and a range of other drinks to order. Handmade Inari sushi also on the menu (and very good!). Don’t miss out!
View on GoogleUnique and tasty Akashiyaki, enjoyed it with the condiments and hot broth. 8 pieces for 800 yen, it’s a busy place during lunch time but the service is fast and the hospitality is warm.
View on GoogleSo tasty Akashi-yaki. It is very like a Tako-yaki , but not one. This is a light feel full in the mouth with dashi soup. Recommended.
