Tried the kamo-toji. The duck was extremely tender and the udon had chewy, thin noodles, making it extremely delicious. With a gentle broth flavor, it makes for a blissful bowl on a cold day. I visited around 9:00 PM on a Sunday, and we were the only ones there. It wasn't crowded so we could enjoy it leisurely. It seems to be a restaurant inherited from her husband, run by the mother alone. You could feel the earnest effort put into making it, a place you'd want to root for. The interior didn't feel very clean, so it's not recommended for those who mind. There are 2 parking lots. Though a bit confusing, turn near the Izuri intersection at the yellow pole in the photo and go to the back of the parking lot where numbers 20 and 21 are located. This is Shichimi's parking lot. It seems udon is made and rested on the 2nd floor, a must-visit spot for thin noodle lovers!

I don't really want to tell people about this udon shop... lol I forgot to take a picture of the menu so I'll post it next time I go. I think I've been coming here for about 15 years now. The famous udon here is duck udon The noodles are soft and thin. The oboro kelp is irresistible 😳 I always order 'kamo-toji' and rice balls! There are various menus like extra duck, tempura udon, and more. The broth has a strong dashi flavor with a well-balanced seasoning, making it so amazingly delicious that I always end up drinking the whole thing! Taiwanese duck meat is thick and hearty, and the more you chew, the more flavor comes out! Also, for some reason, the drinking water is super delicious lol The water here is really good ‼️ It's an udon shop located along the Yao Highway in Dahora. There is a parking lot next door where 2 or 3 cars can park. Operating hours are until around 11 PM, which is quite long considering an auntie runs the shop all by herself ‼️

First brought here by my parents in childhood. I always eat tempura udon, And the degree of thinness of the noodles, the deliciousness of the broth, and the matching shiso and kelp go together exquisitely. Since my ancestor's grave is around here, whenever I went to visit the grave during milestones like Ohigan, Obon, New Year's, if it was open, I usually ate and went home. I used to take out Toshikoshi udon on New Year's Eve, and bringing it back for my own family and my wife's family is always well-received. However, from 1-2 years ago, even passing in front of the shop or calling wouldn't connect... Oh yeah, the owner once said "I'm thinking of quitting," and my family talked about how wasteful it is since it's so delicious. The broth is so delicious that I wished they would preserve it through online shopping, and it seems there were business offers for that, but due to artisanal spirit, they couldn't tolerate any drop in taste quality. Today on Vernal Equinox Day, I could only visit the grave at night, but when I passed by, it was OPEN!!! The time was nearing 9 PM, parked the car in Shichimi's parking lot, timidly opened the door, and while there were no customers inside at the time, they said they were open! My excitement skyrocketed, ordered tempura udon for the first time in a while and ate it, and it was as exquisite as ever, finishing the entire broth. In the old days they used to be open at noon, and since I usually visit graves from morning to evening, my timing missed their operating hours. There are many fans who go out of their way to come back after drinking in Minami, but customer patterns seem to have changed since the coronavirus. Since it's really super delicious and I want them to keep going, everyone please go. I'd like to go again with my family and relatives. They also do take-out, so if you eat it the same day, they'll make it for takeout.

Visited around 10:30 PM. The broth was delicious. The udon had thin noodles, which blended well with toppings like grated yam, shiso leaves, and egg, making a delicious bowl of udon. I ordered the large kamo-toji udon, and the quantity was satisfying for a 24-year-old's young stomach. Combined with the grandmother's personality at the shop, it was exceptionally delicious.
