Great food, but the service was a little slow tonight.

A hidden kushiage restaurant with luxurious ingredients and great value🤎 An interior with relaxing lighting and atmosphere. It is close to 瓢箪山 Station, but tucked into a back alley, giving it a real hideaway feel✨ There were lots of female customers. They seem to have a sommelier, and many women were gathering over glasses of wine🍷 First, the otoshi that day was sashimi, and getting such a substantial appetizer was a lovely surprise☺️ What we ordered↓ ・Free course, 10 skewers ・Piccolo salad ・Fries ・Rice topped with 峠のたまご eggs(from Mount 生駒) Here are the 10 skewers💁🏼‍♀️ ・Nagaimo wrapped with shrimp and shiso, topped with raw uni ・尾崎牛 from Miyazaki ・Mongo cuttlefish and okra with egg soy sauce ・Kuruma prawn ・Quail egg ・Shiitake ・New onion, okonomiyaki-style ・Crunchy roe-bearing kombu wrapped in chicken tenderloin ・Asparagus ・Salmon with tartar sauce and ikura Such a luxurious selection for 4,000円 feels incredibly indulgent❣️ In central Osaka it would probably cost twice as much🥺 Taking this price as the baseline, I do not think you could get kushiage with ingredients this luxurious☺️ The skewers have a thin coating, and there are many kinds of sauce, so it is fun deciding which to dip them in☺️ The salad apparently uses produce the owner grows in the mountains of 生駒, locally grown and consumed, fresh and very delicious, colorful and seemingly packed with nutrients🥗 Everything was delicious overall, including the individual dishes💞 The atmosphere is good, the value is definitely excellent, and it is absolutely worth coming all this way from central Osaka!! A restaurant that left me completely satisfied❤️❤️

Another very satisfying dinner at the renowned 瓢箪山 restaurant「ピッコロラモ」. The appetizer assortment began with a luxurious Japanese-Western combination of sashimi and prosciutto, lifting our spirits from the start. Starting with shrimp kushikatsu, the course continued with skewered dishes showing carefully selected ingredients and thoughtful extra touches, every one impressively delicious. The wine lineup is extensive too, and we enjoyed several bottles with friends that day. The additional eel simmered in red wine was reliably delicious, truly an outstanding dish. Both flavor and service were faultless. A truly wonderful restaurant you can confidently enjoy no matter how many times you visit.
