Beautiful place

Came to Hiraoka Park with my kid! I heard there was an observation deck, and since the weather was nice, we decided to climb up and eat there, so we came here! It was farther than I thought. (I figured about 10 minutes, but since I was with a 3-year-old it took an hour lol) The view is great — you can see all of Higashiosaka City!

I visited on a spring night. Spread out below was Osaka's night view. I gazed at Abeno Harukas and the many city lights. If I had to name one downside, it'd be that I had to hike up from Nukata Station to get here (though maybe I just took the wrong route) I think it's worth the effort to make it up here

2026/4/29 Parking is free with space for about 40–50 cars. It's about 30 minutes to the summit, where there's an observation deck. You can see Abeno Harukas and more.

There was a cute stag beetle(?)! Weekday evening; it's a bit off the path after entering Hiraoka Park. I think I walked about 20 minutes. The path has quite a few largish rocks, so be careful with your shoes👞 I went in flat shoes, so my feet are now successfully hurting😓 lol The view was really great!!!! I'd like to go at night, but the parking lot closes at 17:00, so I gave up…
