のらや石切店Noraya Ishikiri
Opened in August 2002 just off the Outer Ring Road toward Shin-Ishikiri Station. As soon as you step inside, you can enjoy a nostalgic, old-fashioned atmosphere. Customers come from far away too, including those visiting Ishikiri-san shrine, and it's now Noraya's No.1 most popular location.

I ate delicious Udon put on cute dish😊 I like these 😊
View on GoogleFeeling well cozy every time I visit this restaurant. What to be checked is their specially made chinaware, which shapes are designated as cat. It is, fortunately, not "a character restaurant", its taste is truly genuine and satisfactory.

View on GoogleI came here for lunch on a weekday. This time I ordered the set of grated daikon bukkake udon and katsudon, which was about 1,200 yen. It was more filling than I expected, and I got properly full. The udon was very firm with a chewy, springy texture and went down smoothly, very delicious. The katsudon also had a strong dashi flavor, and the cutlet was thick and satisfying. The bowls have a cat design that matches the restaurant's atmosphere and is adorable, so you can enjoy even the little details. The parking lot is large with lots of spaces, which makes it easy to come by car, a nice plus. With a good balance of taste, portion, and convenience, I recommend it for families and for lunch. I'd like to come again when I'm nearby.
View on GoogleI went at 11:30 on a weekday, but the parking lot was full, and there was about a 10-minute wait inside too. I ordered the lunch set with a rice bowl and udon. The katsudon's cutlet had a good bite, and the rice wasn't drenched in sauce but didn't have too little either, just the right balance. The mentaiko udon had a strong mentaiko flavor and was delicious too. There are counter seats, so it's comfortable even alone, and they serve you tea in a cat-shaped teapot at the start, so I could stay hydrated throughout. I left around 12:30, and maybe it was the rush of people leaving, but the parking lot was emptier when I left and there was no wait, so it might be better to come right around noon rather than early.
