A shop run by Niku no Yamajin! Apparently they do lunch too, but I haven't tried it. Dinner is course-only and requires a reservation! You can choose a course from sukiyaki, shabu-shabu, chanko, or tecchiri! Prices are only 3800 yen and 5800 yen (tecchiri only is market price). The entrance is tucked away in a back alley, and the interior has a luxurious feel. The large wine cellar always has dozens or more kinds of wine that pair with the food. The owner is also studying to be a sommelier, so not only are they knowledgeable about wine, but apparently they can get rare wines too — a delight for wine connoisseurs. The course meat is domestic wagyu, with the best of the day served. It's a luxurious course where you're pampered with everything before even reaching the main hot pot, so if you're a light eater you'll get full (^^; Starting with an appetizer, it continues with an assortment of fresh sashimi, roast beef ①, a platter of sirloin roast beef and roast pork, the main hot pot, and udon to finish! Because it's run by a butcher, and because it's in Higashiosaka, it's reasonably priced! Very versatile for dates, dinners, and business entertaining! There's also an all-you-can-drink menu for 4 or more, so it's good for large group parties too.

As expected of direct-from-the-butcher (literally), the quality is extremely high. The tataki in particular was best-in-my-life level and broke down my tear ducts — 5 stars without hesitation.

【Low-carb yakiniku lunch special】 We moved to Osaka for my son's university enrollment. R2.4.1 (Wed) Though apparently university won't be starting for a while yet… So, I came for a yakiniku lunch near his lodging, Nikusho Jin (Ashishiro, Higashiosaka-shi, Osaka) The shop, if you didn't know they did lunch, is on a side street off the shopping arcade, so it's in a hard-to-find spot; first I was intimidated by the thick door of the 2nd-floor entrance, then even more intimidated by the luxurious interior. What I ordered was the Special Selection Yakiniku Set Meal 1,580 yen (excl. tax) 7 slices of reeeally good domestic Kuroge Wagyu and on top of that, two big slices of roast beef so rare you'd think it was raw meat come out, boom, on a heaping salad. Plus rice, miso soup, and pickles at this price. And when you eat it, it's deliciouuus meat that makes you want to shout “woohoo~” If you're ever in Higashiosaka, please give it a try!

It's inside an ordinary apartment building on a narrow alley set back from both the shopping arcade and the main street, so it might be hard to find? The meat is, as expected of Yamajin, delicious! It's like a hideaway, which is fun!

Jin set meal for lunch, 1070 yen‼️ My stomach is totally satisfied❗ The rice is a bit on the soft side I love that the miso soup is sweet🎵 Every side dish makes the rice go down✨
