Town Chinese restaurant. Refreshingly cold water. Extensive lunch menu. Just the right level of customer service. So appreciated. You can add a mini ramen to a set meal for plus 100 yen. You can choose your pickles from zha cai and kimchi. Delightful. The mini ramen is not a mini ramen portion. Delightful. Light yet packed with solid umami flavor. The bean sprout, green onion, and beaten egg toppings are a nice touch. Crisp and smooth. The chives and liver pack a punch. Rich. Delicious. The saltiness of the chives and bean sprouts is just right. Slightly acidic. I wondered why there was a slight acidity, but putting the slightly acidic chives and bean sprouts into the mini ramen creates the ultimate combination. The portion size is generous, but the light flavor makes it slide right down easily. I see! It was delicious.
View on Google202409 Visited at lunchtime. There are various set meals, all for 750 yen. Add mini ramen to a Chinese set meal for +100 yen. What I ordered is the fried rice and soy sauce ramen set. The ramen is light, but both the chashu and beaten egg are delicious. The fried rice is also generous in portion, and getting this for 750 yen is an incredible value. The shop is run by 3 people. Definitely a place I'd look forward to visiting again♪

View on GoogleA small neighborhood Chinese restaurant with 2 counter seats and 4 tables (or so I recall). It seems to have a lot of regular customers. I had the chicken karaage set meal. Unlike today's crunchy and heavily seasoned versions, this is a Chinese-style karaage meant to be eaten with salt. It was voluminous, juicy, and delicious.
View on GoogleGyoza for 10 people, to start. The classic way to order. But the gyoza are exquisite! It's been a while since I had them, and it made me realize just how delicious they were. The other dishes are also delicious, delicious. The old man and old woman are energetic and doing their best.
